Good for me!
I'm new to mountain biking, but this made my bike feel like new. Good value or good for beginners? Who knows? Good for me? OH YEAH!

It's not without stiction!
Bought this fork to upgrade my Schwinn Axum and was somewhat disappointed. This is my first Rockshox fork I've previously used SR Suntour XCR 32 air forks and have been pleased with their performance, but this Judy has way more stiction than any of my Suntour forks. As a matter of fact it reminds me of a Bucklos fork I once had. Yes the Suntour has the Warning sticker and the Rockshox doesn't but I'll be buying Suntour next time.

Improvement over any stock Spring based fork.
For the money it's well worth the time to install. Replaced a Zoom fork that was a spring based shock on a 2019 Schwinn TAFF. Used primary on a commuter e-bike(DIY conversion). If your MTB has Spring based shocks I would highly recommend upgrading to an Air shock. The Judy Silver TK may be budget minded but it's not short on performance for Urban or gentle Trail riding environments.
