They look great!
Great quality. Easy to install with a hammer drill.

look great when installed
Agree with reviews - these look great when they are installed. If you get up close you can see that they are vinyl, but not from more than 15 feet away. Because I was installing where old shutters were, I didn't want to re-drill holes in my house. So, supplied plastic things were useless. But I bought brass screws, spray painted them black (just couldn't find black head screws that weren't overpriced), and installation was a breeze.We're very happy with our new shutters!

don't use the fasteners
the fasteners are cheap. They do not allow the shutter to be removed if needed. I replaced them with 3-inch screws.

Shutters look great!
I ordered two sizes to enhance the look of my house. I rated this product with five stars because they were lightweight and I have them on another home. My only suggestion for installation, is to make a cardboard template once you have drilled your holes into each of the 6 positions on each shutter so you can tape it in place to drill holes into the wall. It's easier than trying to hold onto the shutter, especially if you are installing these without another set of hands.

For Masonry Installation
purchased set of 2 then an additional set of 2 (total 4 shutters) brick installation -didn't follow instructions b/c I was confident having experience with masonry installs in the past -recommend following procedure for installation onto brick surfaces: use #14 X 1 1/2" plastic ribbed mollies (usually green) -use #14 2" stainless steel pan head screws -use 5/16 masonry bit with hammer drill -use 5/16 regular drill bit ---with regular 5/16 bit (start hole with smaller bit) drill hole in each corner of shutter and at halfway point on vertical (total 6) per shutter -place and hold shutter in position against brick and hammer drill thru holes with masonry bit approx 2 3/4" (this allows for 3/4" recess in shutter -place molly in all 6 positions and afix with the 2" stainless steel screws NOTES: spray paint screws before install - shutters have ample flexibility to bend to allow for molly placement
