I like the looks and the quality.

So glad we installed these! Door used to hit us in the foot while walking inside. Now it doesn't and we can prop the door open for a nice breeze.

Works well, turned out to be the correct size, therefore, simple installation.

I have a newly built home. I moved in 2 years ago and the 2 screen door closers have already worn out, so I purchased this one. It works, but regardless of how long of a delay you choose before closing, once it closes it SLAMS closed, making a loud BANG. I was hoping for a softer close.

First and more minor, the tightness of spring can be adjusted but is finicky to get an ideal balance and and even when at "ideal" setting it still takes enough effort to open the door that may elderly parents struggle to do it if they are also carrying/balancing something else in other hand. This is cheap product so maybe expected but in retrospect wish I would have spent more for a better one. This would be a 3 star review EXCEPT below.Installation has screws for a plate on door. Those have a grove that you can move the plate around with out having to re-screw. However the grooves are about same width as the screw, such that when opening/closing the door the whole plate moves regardless of how tight you screw it. This messes with the already finicky spring adjustment in part 1 of this review and makes it so the door either slams shut or doesn't close all the way. You would think you could fix this by adding more screws or moving the existing screws to the outside part of the plate so you can't adjust but it can't move either. But when I did this the screw holes where to close to first screw holes and the screw it self now moves.TL;DR; spent hours trying to adjust/get right and just got worse over time to point removed the whole think a week after installation.

Sizing was spot on and color even matched up fairly closely to the 'Florida' bronze of my mom's front screened in porch. The screen door had been over-extended and bent the rod on the original one. This new one slipped right into place perfectly using the existing end pieces. The screw adjustment was easy to manipulate for closure . The larger of the two brackets won't work on every install, like mine, where I needed a bracket that fit on/over the corner of the post, but no biggie since it slipped onto the originals.
