Great price
Great price for a durable pan. The style of a gold pan is pretty simple across the board. Gold pans made of plastic should not be expensive. However, there are some expensive ones out there. This pan was a great price and works just as good.

Great Quality Pan
Great quality pan. Very well made and a solid value for your money. Made of very thick plastic so no worries about rusting. Very easy to clean out at the end of a prospecting session. The black color makes it easy to see any gold.

Plastic in NOT durable
This plastic will break. I am using this to sift seeds, so likely will last, but I couldn't see using this to pan for gold. One of the pieces I bought was broken (no just cracked) in shipping and it was double boxed! The plastic is the type that will break like glass (long fracture). I would have prefered a more flexible plastic. After I purchased this, somebody suggested using flour type sifters. They are about the same price and metal. These do stack nicely and if you are just sorting seeds from twigs and hulls, it is so fast, you will make the cost back in time savings on your first use. I put one size smaller on top if this tray, then the seed filter, then one larger. Just pour in the seed and in seconds all the large debri is gone. Remove the top screen, and lightly move the seed around and you are done. 95% of more of the seed debri is gone. While this would not be adequate for selling commercially, the seed is clean enough for personal use and trading. A light breeze and winnowing would remove the rest of the debri in most cases. But again, I can't see this plastic lasting around any material of significant weight, like rocks.
