good condition really well written it's a good book

Simple and easy helps you understand the other americans.

It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but was still informative and entertaining until about the last 30-40 pages when he started leaning left until he rolled of the hill and onto the floor.

This book was purchased for a school assignment. I would not be quick to purchase a book of this nature.

This book enables the reader to enjoy an overview of the history of the struggles of Latin America through the centuries.

perfect for the course I am taking in Latin America

The author knows his Latin America history and deploys the knowledge adroitly and, indeed, concisely. What I enjoyed is his using of the comparative cases of the various nations as a way of developing some general observations about how nations develop. For me that takes the book from merely informative to riveting.
