Speedo Women's Essential Endurance+ Medalist One Piece Swimsuit New Season

I'd looked at swimsuits in the shops because my old one had gone rotten, but I was not prepared to pay the silly prices some retailers wanted, and in the budget shops, the quality didn't seem to be great. I should just have stayed at home and looked on Amazon. This Speedo costume is excellent for me to plough up and down my local pool doing lengths, and it is claimed that the Endurance fabric is designed to prevent it going rotten so quickly. I will report back after a few months - but so far so good! I like the style of the swimsuit with the cross over back which means i'm not worrying about the shoulder straps slipping down, and the leg cut is just right, and not too high. The only thing that troubled me before buying online was uncertainty about sizes. I bought size 36 inch chest (I actually measure 35) and I'm a 10-12 in tops and trousers, and only 5 foot 2 inches tall. The fit for me is good, although I suspect if you are taller, you may find this swimsuit is cut a little short in the body. I would probably recommend going up a size if you are of average or above height. If you go to the Speedo website, there is a size chart there to help you decide.Am definitely pleased that I ordered this.UPDATE After a year of use swimming three times a week, I am pleased to report that this swimsuit is still going strong. I am about to order another colour for a bit of variety, but this one has lasted pretty well.

Nice fitting costume, good quality fabric

I originally bought this swimsuit from the Speedo website but, as many others have mentioned, their sizes are very small and I had to return it.. I’m an 8/10 and ultimately needed a size 12 to avoid looking like I’d been squeezed into a sausage casing. I was a little worried this would be a knockoff as much cheaper than official site but when it arrived it was packaged and labelled exactly the same as the one I bought direct, and the material looks and feels identical. Speaking of which, it is quite thin but feels very durable and comfortable so not an issue for me. Style is classic, simple and flattering so overall very pleased. I knocked a star off just because the sizing is a pain.

Prompt delivery and refund of first swim costume I ordered. Had to reorder as first costume was sent in the wrong colour. 2nd costume arrived promptly. The costume is a sug fit but I'm keeping it as tight is better for swimming in.

I'm a UK 10/12, bought a size 40 because I'm quite long in the torso. This is equivalent to a sz16. Length is currently good but I wouldn't want it to stretch out any longer. It's pretty wide around the waist. Fabric isn't like regular swimsuit material - doesn't have that sheeny sleek smoothness, and it feels like it might lose shape or stretch easily. It doesn't have any support to it either, so if you're looking for something to hold everything together nicely and flatter your bod this isn't the suit for you - lumps, bumps and headlights will all be fairly apparent. However, the blue colour is really beautiful, and I did my usual swim at the pool without any distractions or discomfort from the suit - leg cut isn't too high and the back cut allows for good arm movements. From what I've read in other reviews the fabric lasts for ages and is chlorine resistant. For vanity's sake I think I prefer a suit that makes me look good but this definitely ticks all the boxes in practical application.

This Speedo Endurance costume is my second Endurance, nothing wrong with my original one but wanted another so that I have a spare if I don’t get to rinse and dry one before needing it again. Although these costumes are a little on the expensive side, I have found it false economy to buy cheaper other brand costumes as they are only lasting a few weeks of regular swimming before going baggy with what looks like bits of snapped elastic strands and unwearable, the Endurance costumes are chlorine resistant so keep their shape and no elastic strands no matter how often you swim. The costumes look quite thin and not a lot to them when they arrive but the material is not at all see through when wearing or wet and once I got used to the muscle back( cross back) it felt very comfortable to wear and I’m looking forward to wearing it for swimming for a good long time (years) to come.

Fantastic budget swimsuit! I bought this because it was a good make and an even better price. I go to Aquafit class 3x per week and have had quite a few complimentary comments. The material is plenty thick enough - I would say thicker than average for a sports swimsuit. It covers up your chest very well so that no cleavage is on view. There is no "hidden support" but as it's a tight sports fit that isn't necessary. The last thing you want is a bra style support that moves about as you exercise. Also good when swimming. Very good quality and comes in an attractive range of colours. I went for blue as it was the cheapest but it looks really nice. It's slightly difficult to remove when wet but the technique is to pull down the shoulder straps and then grab the cross strap at the back and pull it down from the rear.

Intermediate swimmer here - in the pool 3 times a week for an hour at a time swimming front crawl. I’m a size 14 UK, 5’5 and I’m busty. It’s a great swim suit for getting your lengths in - good support in the back, plenty coverage and comfortable. Not super flattering for bustier gals as there’s no cups/pads etc built in but the material is pretty tight and keeps everything in the right place. Would maybe size up 1 size if you’re unsure, although it has loosened up a bit after 5 weeks of consistent wear.
