Great Helmet
The Schutt Sports Air 5.6 helmet is a great helmet! I bought this for my 11 year old who play competitive baseball. The benefit of this helmet is that it is sized to the athletes head, instead of using a one size fits all approach. Schutt's air technology also uses more advanced technology if the batter is hit in the head with the ball. My son loves this helmet, he was very happy with the color options as well (maroon).

Great fit both on head and around the ears.
My 12-year-old son outgrew his last Schutt baseball helmet after two years of use playing both league and tournament team which equates to 2-6 games, plus practices, each week. After going to the local sporting good stores with no luck finding a local Schutt retailer - or another make that was a good fit where the helmet wouldn't wiggle while running - I triple-measured his head circumference (21.25") and followed the sizing chart on the Schutt website an ordered a size Small helmet. It arrived promptly and fit perfectly with no "wiggle room". Looking forward to another 1-2 years of frequent, sweaty use.

Great helmets!
These are great helmets! My son was provided one as part of a team and now he won’t wear anything else. They come in a huge variety of sizes and colors.

Perfect Fit for 11u with Big Head
This is the only helmet we could find that would fit our 11u sons head. Highly recommend the Schutt AiR 5.6 for kids with a larger than normal noggin.

Crappy packaging!
The helmet itself is perfect, but the plastic bag it came with was stuck to where the ear pieces SHOULD have been. After peeling that off, I'm worried that the ear pieces won't stay in place. I don't have time to return before this is needed.

Perfect Fit!!
This is a great helmet! Schutt has so many sizes of helmets and we found the one that fit perfect. Great padding and the face guard was easy to put on.
