****Just What I Needed****

First thing worth mentioning is I've had this one vinyl Salvia Plath "The Bardo Story" that always skipped on my favorite track "House of Leaves" since the day I bought it - like a brutal serious of skips that just butchers the experience. I got it back in 2013 brand new and it always had this issue. Over the past 10 years I have tried to play it on various turntables and it always skipped no matter the grade of the turntable. I even recently tried it on my friend's Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-BK - didn't work out. Well, not with this turntable. There was a little surface noise where it usually goes "all to hell" but otherwise no skipping and it was the first time I got to hear the song fully. After this particular LP played, I knew I was golden with the rest of my 300+ collection since this one was the most problematic one I have. The other perk I noticed is the body of the turntable is pretty solid and I was surprised when my cat jumped up and stepped on the cover lid and the tonearm didn't jump on the vinyl....there was no painful skip... still "GET DOWN!" But that's pretty impressive. I love the sturdy quality and weight of this turntable. It doesn't feel light and cheap. This turntable is also aesthetically very nice - it looks good in my living room.Another big perk is the little attachable light that shines on the needle so you can see what you're doing in the dark when placing the needle. I like to have my friends over for projector and music night and it was awesome having the little light and not needing to turn on the living room lights to properly place and drop the needle. Didn't even really think this was something I needed, but it really does help if you like low light settings for your listening sessions. More turntables should have this feature. The Bluetooth connectivity is a nice touch too. I love being able to connect my Bose NC700 headphones at night in order to not bother anyone if I want to play my vinyl. I still line in my main speakers, but it's a nice feature to increase listening flexibility. I can connect my JBL speaker and take it to the kitchen when I want to cook and play a vinyl.Overall this is an excellent turntable for the quality without having to pay 1-2k. I've been committed to collecting vinyl for 12 years and it was time to get something better. If you're serious about collecting and value your collection, this is a good product to consider if you're looking to upgrade and improve your listening experience. I probably had this turntable in my cart for 2 years debating if it was necessary and I can now say I should have bought this thing sooner when it caught my eye. A+++

Plays my most scratched records!

I'm an audio engineer, and I just wanted something to spin some records on. Looks wise, absolutely beautiful. Looks like a clone of something much more expensive.Features wise, it has it all. The only thing it doesnt have is auto return. But that's really not something I needed.Bluetooth connects nearly instant. Bluetooth sound quality is excellent. Exceeded my expectations. For the best quality, the RCA connections are awesome. The pre amp is warm and has a very smooth bass tone.Direct drive means no belts to replace. Quartz and speed controls work excellent. I ran a tap counter against a Prof album and the same track on digital. Timing was spot on. Not even 1 bpm off.I've got some deep dives that probably shouldn't be played. Almost every one of them has played fine.Overall, I'd rate this as the closest thing you'll get to a pro level turntable, without paying 3 times the price.Definitely, worth the price. On records like Daft Punk, you'll hear some finite details that you've never heard before. If your into home audiophile levels of sound, this may be the one your looking for.

Hits the sweat spot of quality/price. Comes with absolutely outstanding customer support!

This is the turntable to get. I've spent years with other turntables converting my vinyl into digital with results that I didn't think were as good as they could've been. This turntable isn't that much more expensive, but it's worth every penny is terms of sound quality. You get 3 outputs: Analog (line-out or Phono RCA) USB, Bluetooth. All work well. For USB, the audio is up to 48khz 16-bit. On a Mac, that's what it is by default. So either set your recording to that level, or change the level by going to the macOS Audio Midi Setup app in Utilities . You can use the free Audacity software, or any other audio software to make your recordings (I happen to use Sound Studio).Yes it works well with Intel or M1 Macs.As others have mentioned, the turntable looks nice (and more expensive than it is), but it does have some less expensive components. I'm all for that though. I want good quality recordings of my vinyl as the top priority, durability and functionality as a secondary considerations, and then a distant last would I care about things like plastic/wood/etc..., especially if it still looked really nice.It does have a lot of features that you don't see in turntables at this price or less, but they're all functional and relate to quality output. For example, some turntables don't have line-out. Some don't have speed indicators or quartz timing. Some don't have high precision tone arm weight adjustment or anti-skate adjustment. This has all of that.More little things that I really like... the feet are adjustable so you can perfectly balance it on a surface that might not be 100% balanced. They also not only shock absorb, but suction if placed on a smooth surface. I have mine on a glass desk, and it's like as if it's permanently attached (unless I twist the feet). There's also a nice needle light so you can drop it precisely on tracks, and of course it's a true turntable, meaning that you can stop the motor and turn the platter by hand to cue or scratch.CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AWESOME!!!I had some technical questions regarding both macOS and Windows. Email responses were swift, detailed, and customized, making sure I fully understood the answers to my questions. Customer support gets an A+.Thanks Brent!
