Reed & BartonReed & Barton Longwood II - 5pc. Place Setting (Service for One)

SO... Reed and Barton has made a "new" Longwood" stainless pattern that is NOT the same as the original Longwood. If you are looking for a great simple, solid, beautiful stainless pattern.... you will love this. However... if you had this pattern for 15 years or more... you will be disappointed as it is about 15% lighter/ thinner than the original.It is a great pattern and set... but if you are replacing the original.. you will feel the difference. I got 4 place settings to add to my other 8. I will keep them... as I rarely need settings 9-12..I doubt anyone but me will notice.

Bought to add to our collection which was given to us as a wedding gift over 10 years. These are identical, a bit lighter but not much and are still very nice sturdy utensils. Bought 1 set to test and just purchased another 7 after seeing the product.

Size and length is good. Keeps it's shine after washing. They have a good sturdy grip in your hand.

The quality of this silverware from China is not the sames as the ones I already had. They are not as heavy or as thick as the originals.

I was searching for my pattern because I was missing some pieces and this was a perfect match.

I was very happy to be able to buy replacement spoons knives and forks without having to buy the whole set. However after I put this in my wish list the prices went up exorbitantly. I appreciate the product in the high-quality however I’ve taken one star down for feeling gouged.
