Inspiring Read
Having read many books on Spanish style architecture, I am finding this one to be a favorite. Great narrative and impressive photography.

Great photos
I really like this book. It has great photos & design ideas. I was a little worried, based on other reviews, that this was going to be a tiny book with little pictures that were hard to see. It is not. It's great. It's not a giant coffee table book, but it is a nice book with lots of photos.

Beautiful Photos - Good Inspiration
I bought this book for inspiration as I am in the process of designing my new home - a 1920s style spanish mediterranean.I found several photos of the homes incredibly beautiful and will be incorporating their inspiration in my personal design. The book itself is stunning and I will display it as well.

Better off just perusing pinterest
I’m surprised at the popularity of this. I expected to see, for the size of this book, dozens or hundreds of examples of the architecture of the Spanish style home. Instead this book consists of a handful of literally famous, multi-millionaire, classic homes that are honestly only reminiscent of the style. If you want to see pictures of some billionaires mansion with dozens of rooms and a servants quarters, and it has some adobe wall, this is the book for you. But if you want to see anything of any substance, or practicality, or novelty, or breadth of the Spanish style, you’ll find none of it here. You’ll see more, better images just doing a google image search.

A decent survey
Books about historical design and domestic architecture tend to run aground when the reader is treated to page after page of over-decorated interiors, little of it even pertaining to the period or the style of the home itself. The romance of the subject is lost, and the spell broken. Either focus on exteriors, as in the book “Red Tile Style”, or stage the interiors with a disciplined minimalist eye, as in the case of Diane Keaton’s elegant “California Romantica” book. That said, the photographs of Andalusia are sensational, as are many of the exterior shots of the Spanish Revival homes of the 20’s.
