Seals really well - an essential part of my arsenal for gizmological repairs, most recently from split padding on handles to a leak in my C-pap tubing (thanks, cat). You'll be glad you have it.

Used it for sealing around old solder joints in a copper laundry standpipe..no fun when these joints fail from even a pin hole leak, particularly in water supply piping.A quick fix for an active leak, but also as a joint wrapping as preventative measure.Not planning on using it for electrical repairs or insulation, but good to know it has an 8000V rating, just in case.Keep a roll in house and car.

Used this tape on a vacuum pump on a freeze dryer as I was loosing vacuum. I located all the connections and seals with this tape all but one held up. I could have installed the tape incorrectly on that sole connection. This tape needs to be pulled tight and wrapped much like electrical tape. When vacuum was drawn you could see the tape collapse and fill the void. After reviewing the joints with soapy water the tape did close the pin holes. It’s a handy tape to have sitting around if Teflon or compression fails and you want a quick fix. I don’t suspect you would want to use this long term for any critical water application.

I tried the easy way out, on my leaking water service connection. All the tape really did was to move the leak…Anyone know of a way to stop and Old leaky # threaded pipe connection? Without a full disconnect repair? Without a major company getting involved? For money is no longer my friend and that drip drip ain’t stopping.

I've used this tape multiple times and it does the job well. It's great as a "coating" for surfaces that need some squish. I created friction on the support ends of a bathtub caddy by wrapping the edge-rests, for example, so that the caddy is less prone to slip into the bathtub. I love finding new ways to use the tape, most recently to wrap hand-held flower bouquets.

Was bottling vanilla extract and this worked perfect too as an extra seal to the bottles. It was actually wide enough I could cut the strips in half and double the usage of the roll.Would highly recommend.

Did not work. Put around a leak and it is not working not worth what you spend.. save your money.
