Classic look good materials they don’t illuminate that much but they feel really high-quality

Nice construction they feel heavy and really strongDon’t expect much illumination from it but it looks pretty classic if you’re looking for that look is perfect

Old school cool.

In a world where everyone uses led bars on everything, it's nice to know you can still get real lights for a good price, with the old school vibe. Makes my vintage vehicles look era correct.

Great for what they are

In all honesty besides the wiring harness and some grommets these are right on par with the KC halogens. I'm running a pair mounted to the bumper of my 96 f150. Aux beam controller. I used a KC wiring harness. There's no direction on mounting so I have to take the stuff back off and sandwich the bumper with the two rubber pieces I believe. So far 6 months and 2 trips to Washington DC a trip to little rock and a trip to Orlando. These are working great. Wire care I bought all the wire sheeting. I am using weather packs every connection I'm using the heat shrink with the soldering in it. These light are spot light reminds me of pencil beam lights from the 90s. They are great for some long distance. Will buy again I believe I can rip the guts out and put in KC leds. Will update later.

- easy: the mounting hardware is simplistic yet functional

Pros:- efficient: each light produces a solid output, and if aimed/placed correctly, will really be a help for frequent drivers of country roads.- cost: when i bought them from Amazon these were 9.88 per light, which is a damned steal.- easy: the mounting hardware is simplistic yet functional, anybody can put them in. they're also relatively simple to take apart and put back together.Cons:- RUST: You have been warned, these lights have a coating that will leave you wanting more. before you go putting this on your truck I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU REPAINT THEM INDIVIDUALLY. cannot stress this enough - one of my lights in particular is completely caked with gnarly brown rust, and it's quite unappealing. coincidentally ...- bulb issue?: ... this very same very, ugly housing for my light has gone through the stock bulb and a replacement, and is now on its' second store-bought bulb (the bulbs cost more than the light ... *sigh*)- very weak wiring: the wiring connecting the bulb is incredibly flimsy, so if you go about playing with it, you will most likely unintentionally pull the wire apart. i would recommend soldering and reconnecting a stronger wire before you go about mounting them.all in all, as long as you know what you're doing in terms of buying the necessary extra wire, tools (soldering, screwdriver), a switch(s), and (if you do choose to use one) a relay(s), you should be fine. i would probably re-couple this purchase with an accompanying switch kit, but. they're still kicking and useful after 6 months or so. good buy for a cheap truck light !

For 11$ why not ?

They seem fairly high quality for $11. I compared them next to KC lights and honestly the glass housing itself looks identical. They both use 100w H3 bulbs.. Theyre both Chromed, and the funny thing is i know these will probably rust over a couple years, in which case ill either buy a new one, or just paint them. Whats funny about that is the KC lights rust as well.. There is a very thick pliable rubber gasket holding the glass housing and reflector on that tightens with a metal band.Little Update: The wiring on it is 18AWG, so if you want to keep fires from happening, i suggest you re-wire these lights to at least 14-16AWG wiring depending on where you put them and the length wire youre using. 16AWG is really only safe up to 8ft with a 8.3 Amp bulb, unless you want a lot of power loss going to the lights. What i did was re-wire to 16GA, but only for 4 ft, and merged two lights into a 12ga WIRE going to a relay and fuse. Also upgraded my alternator to 150A from 94 Amps. But yea deff get rid of the 18GA wires on it. Also after 3-4 days in the humidity the screws holding the straps for the rubber seal are rusting. So i would replace them with some stainless steel scews from the auto parts store.I havent seen any condensation inside the lights yet and its been very humid and rainy in Virginia. Just make sure you tighten the bands very tight. They are a little loose and i imagine some of the reviews of condensation is due to them not being tight. Condensation could get inside the light from the bolt so you could add some silicone to it if you really are concerned about thatSo the way i saw it, why would i spend $141 on two KC chromed hihlights when i can spend $68 on 6 of these ? If they rust on the outside like i read they do.. Ill just paint em black.. not a big deal.I included pics of them on and off. The dimmer picture is on a rocky road in the woods with just silverstar sylvania headlights and regular 55w fog lights. The 2nd pic is with 4 of these on the roof and 2 on the bumper.Huuuge differeEdit #2. Its been a few months with the 6 lights (4 roof two bumper) and they havent rusted yet besides the screw for the band which i mentioned. The lights are still just as bright as the day i got them. I use them alot on dark roads. We have cross walks where i live that arent lit up and nornal lights dont do it. People have been killed on that crosswalk so i use em all the time in that road.No fogg or any water has gotten in them yet.Dont like the price increase though. Going from 7$ in some reviews to 11 on mine to 14$ in just a few months. Its still cheaper than anything else but yea.Edit #3. Its been 8 months now since i installed these. I still have 0 issues with them. No rust has formed on them outside or inside, except for one. But the rust is only on the pivot ball on the bottom under the light itself. I still havent seen any condensation inside them. I still firmly believe the people who keep writing reviews about this havent tightend down the clamp properly. I live in Virginia, where its raining 50% of the time and humidity here is insaine. The only thing i think im going to change would be to try brighter 130w bulbs and see what happens. Not that im complaining. But im bored and i want to tinker. I still highely recommend these. Especially if you have older Trucks. Also the people writing LEDS are brighter.. Yes and no. Most if not all the led pods on amazon are the same pod sold by 50 different names (chinese) and they all have one thing in common. Th3y advertise 120w and only use something around 10w of power. The reason LEDS in general seem brighter is due to the white light. Our eyes see that better than the yellow when you compare.Brighter or not. I have a 32 year old truck and im not putting a led light bar that belongs on a modern 4door wrangler. It just doesnt look right.

Good for price

If you’re expecting to use Kc daylighter covers or stone guards these are undersized from what they used to be they’ll fall off. Normally install them on trucks customers won’t ever remove the covers on but now I’ll have to go back to true Kcs. I swapped led bulbs in my personal set they’re bright as hell
