Great book

Question: Can anyone tell me which pattern is the one on the cover with "Nihon Vogue" on it? I'm REALLY glad to have this book, but I have looked through it many times without finding that pattern!Previous books of Japanese stitch patterns that I've seen have not included enough explanations. This one is great (thanks, Gayle!), and I really look forward to trying some!

This is a beautiful book with tons of colored charts but that’s the problem for me I didn’t realize it’s only charts 😅 which is my own fault for not reading too much into the description. I would have preferred some written patterns in here but it seems to have a lot of information and I’m going to hang onto it and try to learn from it but if you can read charts well it’s a very nice book

there are stitch patterns and combos that I've never seen before, I've been collecting st. dictionaries for 40 yrs. and was still happily surprised. I can't wait to start swatching some of these beauties.

This is a good basic lace book, but anyone expecting a sequel to 280 Japanese Lace Stitches will be disappointed. Lots of regular old simple lace stitches, and of the more complex ones, I've seen a lot of them elsewhere.

Japanese style knitting has become my favorite style and it’s solely because of these books! They explain everything so it’s way to understand. I have even written my own Japanese designs since reading these!

I now own the entire collection from this author. Beautiful designs and easy to read/understand instructions.

Bardzo ciekawa pozycja. Wzory raczej proste. Zostały pogrupowane tematycznie. Przedstawione za pomocą czytelnych schematów i zdjęć próbek. Posiada również rysunkowe wyjaśnienie ściegów. Jestem bardzo zadowolona.

Viene bien tenerlo a mano para inspiración y además es práctico por estar escritos en gráficos. Los patrones son bonitos y las fotos se ven bien.
