The item itself is nice, but please be aware that the full retail price for this set is only $26. I just paid $27.49 on Amazon. Had I realized, I would have purchased it directly from Crane or a local retailer.

Just like everybody else has said Crane put it'slogo on the back of the sheets. I'm not sending a Hallmark card. I'm sending a letter on fine stationary Use a watermark you people at Crane.

Nice to take the time and write instead ofa text or an email. This is very classic.

As others mentioned here in the reviews, Crane & Co. now seem to be sticking their brand name on the paper. Unfortunately I read the reviews too late. As was mentioned, and I agree it takes this stationary from a very nice, quality paper, to a tacky note sheet. Had been wanting to add some Crane stationary to my repertoire for some years, I was gifted a beautiful set of their correspondence stationary years ago. Alas, the quality doesn't seem to be as good, the paper was an even smaller format, although that might be me not reading the fine print prior to purchase, but my main disappointment is the Branding on the back side of the sheets, really detracts from the overall elegant look of the page.I guess it's time to find another stationer.
