Nearly dead on arrival, do not buy
Purchased this to replace original BMW module that was classically failing like most do-when it gets hot. Car only ran for less than 30 seconds with this module. Plugged in old BMW module, it ran fine for an hour before module got hot. This was coded successfully prior to start. I was able to capture the failure with my scan tool. Pics tell the tale. The straight lines show correct and STABLE voltage and amps at idle from original BMW module. The erratic lines pic show the unstable voltage and amps of this horrific module before it pegged at 20 amps and car stalled. Codes for high current tripped as to be expected. This module is likely shorted internally. Maybe I just got a bad one, but clearly it is defective. I just switched back to the BMW module in the meantime and taking my chances. I will be returning. Forget the cheap modules and go straight for OE...

Works great but just remember it's not OEM
My 2010 BMW 535xi wagon would randomly shut off without any warning and had the fuel pump warning come up on the dash. I replaced this module along with a Bosch fuel pump and it complete solved my issue. The car WILL run even if you don't program it, but I would still recommend you program it to the car.

Thanks my daughters car was shutting off in hot weather... Fuel pump module fixed issue

BMW 530 I 2006 it does need programmed.
It does need to be programmed for use in the 530i BMW.
