Having double headed, magnetic measuring spoons saves a lot of time and eliminates clutter. No longer do I have to rifle through the measuring spoons in the drawer, trying to find the one I want. These spoons nest together and you just take out the bunch, use the one you want and put the rest back. The two heads on each spoon are great for when you have a recipe that calls for, say, a teaspoon of vanilla and a teaspoon of salt - you've got two teaspoons in one spoon, so you don't have to worry about drying off the spoon wet with vanilla before measuring the salt. Got a narrow jar you need to dip your measuring spoon in? Each measuring spoon has a wide spoon and a narrow spoon; wide's good for liquids (deeper bowl, less spillage) and narrow's great for those afore-mentioned narrow jars. Last but not least, they're adorable and a happy, colorful addition to our now, much less cluttered utensil drawer. Little children love using them - in fact, we got our grandson his own set, because he loves using ours as he learns to cook.

I already had a set of these that I bought from another store and loved them so much I decided to get these, as well as the snapping measuring cups.Usually with my measuring spoons/cups they get scattered all over the place and I can never seem to find the one I need. The ones on the ring are a pain because I either have to take in on and off, or I have to wash them all at the same time, which is a total waste. I love these because not only are they colorful to help distinguish one from the other, thus making them easier to keep track of, but they stack together nicely as well saving a ton of room in the draw. After I purchased these, I threw out all of my other measuring spoons/cups.They are all marked with the Progressive, both the one I bought from the store, and the ones I got on Amazon.com. The only difference is that the Tablespoon that I got from the store is more teal, as opposed to the blue one on Amazon...not really a big deal in my book.

Before buying these I was using a set that was permanently attached to a ring (I really need to cut that ring off) and a really old incomplete Tupperware set. I was spoiled as a child to always have the easy to separate Tupperware ones for baking and I needed something similar to replace it. I like how the spoons separate for easy use and there is no ring to reattach them to. When I take one spoon out of the middle the remaining spoons still snap together. It is nice to know I have two ends to work with while baking. I like the fact I can rest the spoon on the counter and fill it with liquid--really nice when the other hand is covered in some kind of goo! I like the colors--over time I will begin to think "Oh, I need the yellow spoon" when I need the one teaspoon measure. They are sturdy and do not bend when I scrape the filled spoon against the flap of the baking soda box to level out the measure (the old Tupperware ones flexed just a bit too much.)These will go on my list of practical gifts to give.

I bought these spoons because it's often hard for me to read the labeling on measuring spoons. These have been great because I can tell the sizes just by the color, and grab the correct spoon. I have also been surprised by how much I love a couple other features. Each spoon has a round end and an oval end. It is sometimes nice to have a choice, and is often nice to have an extra end clean for measuring another ingredient. A big surprise for me was that the spoons are flat on the bottom, so I can set a full spoon on the counter without spilling, if I need to.

I needed narrow, plastic measuring spoons, and these fit the bill.

I always hated measuring spoons that came on a plastic ring. The ring always broke and your spoons would be loose all over the drawer. So when I bought the metal Progressive magnetic spoons I thought I had found perfection. They were wonderful for several years, until the plastic part that contained the magnet started cracking and coming off. Then I saw these, which simply snap together and are in an assortment of fun colors to boot. Having a double sided spoon is brilliant, because often you need the same measurement of different ingredients in a recipe. Also the two different shapes are useful, as the longer shape fits better into spice jars. A flat bottom means they can sit patiently on the counter if you need two hands to fill them with something. I hope whoever designed these spoons got a big bonus, because they thought of everything you could want in a measuring spoon.

Hands down one of the best kitchen products I've ever bought. I saw these in a magazine and I knew I just had to have them. I get SO annoyed by the normal measuring spoons that are on a plastic ring because they're just so cumbersome and when you use one you practically have to wash the whole thing. These just snap together and snap apart, easy as pie. They take up practically no space at all in my utensil drawer, and the MOST BEAUTIFUL thing about these is that they are double ended, so you can use one end for liquids, for one powders, and not have to dirty two measuring spoons while cooking or baking, or if you're like me and only have one set, you don't have to wash it in the middle of a recipe just to finish measuring out what you need. I love these, I would buy these for each and every college student leaving home for the first time, they will never know how much they need these until they don't have them.

I had purchased a set of these in a store and love them so much that I searched for them and found them here on Amazon so I could get a 2nd set. I'm married 47 years and these are the BEST measuring spoons I've had. They sit flat on the counter meaning they don't roll and you can put things in them and lay it on the counter and it won't spill or tip. They fit together well but I keep them loose in a mug in my cabinet. I like that they have a round end and an elongated end. Fits well into smaller spaces and you have 2 ends to use when making a recipe! Love them!
