These large tins are not designed for the rigors of Amazon shipping, and a large proportion of the cookies get broken in transit. They're perfect for people like me, who have a sweet tooth and just want a private snack stash, but if you're looking for pristine cookies that you can proudly serve to guests, you'd best look elsewhere.

I love Walkers shortbread from back when we lived in Scotland, so I always buy a few packs for Christmas. I was sorting through Amazon, trying to find the best buy and stumbled across this huge tin!! When it arrived there were no dents in the tin. I opened it just to check and there were a few cracked in one or two of the individual packs, but not smashed (understandable for such a big tin of biscuits that has to make its way across an ocean and the USA). I did make sure to order them from "in stock" next day (4-8 am) so they'd be last on and first off of the delivery van and not have to bump all over town all day. A very good deal.In the photo is an older tin (different brand) that is usually the size I get for just a little cheaper. In the Amazon photo is the exact pkg. of Walkers except all in Spanish. The one I ordered came all in English, which was perfect.

Come on Kirkland! I read the reviews & many people were unhappy with the condition of their broken box of cookies since 2024. I got a can of cookies in Dec 2024 and they had minimal amount of broken cookies. So, I recently reordered thinking my cookies would arrive perfectly in my beautiful can…….wrong! I think there were 3 sets of cookies ( round, triangle & rectangles) for 12. The round & triangles were all broken to some degree. The rectangle cookies fared the best.Kirkland, get your baking/ marketing/ sales/ shipping/ pricing teams together and get this problem figured out.We are tolerating this because the breakage does not hinder the taste but you cannot offer your guest a shortbread cookie looking like this.You need to give every person that informed you of this issue a credit and thank them for being a loyal customer.We love your product, we want to support you & your company !
