The kid loves it and this was a good purchase.

**UPDATE 4/24/2019**My son is now 7 years old and we are getting ready to say good-bye to this much loved bed. Now, disclaimer, my son is EXTREMELY picky on how he takes care of his things. This bed still looks brand new today and still holding up well. I removed the slide and put that in storage about 1.5 years ago - I decided he was too heavy and busy for it as it is better designed for a younger child. My only complaint is the bed shakes a little with his bigger size (currently about 48lb, 46 inches tall), but only when he's climbing the ladder to get in or moving around a lot.Bottom line: I would buy this bed again for a toddler. It's held up well and has been a lot of fun for the boy.************************************Purchased about 3 months ago for my 4yr old. I wanted to get some time to acclimate before reviewing it.To address previous poor reviews on assembly - I did not have these same problems, but I am fairly handy with putting things together and using tools. The parts are labeled, but the pictures are also fairly representative of the pieces needed. I did not have any left over pieces, and it was only myself and my 4yr old that put it together. The Velcro that holds the tent do not pose any issues for us.Overall, nice piece. Perfect for a preschool age child and sturdy enough to put up with the shenanigans of an active boy. My son LOVES this bed and is very proud of it. He has made some of his little friends a little jealous because they also want one like it now. I see this bed being sturdy enough to last him a few years without an issue.Shipped faster than I expected. The estimated delivery date was about 30 days, but we received it within 3 weeks of ordering.

Solid wood and impressive quality.

This is a surprisingly qreat quality bed for the price. The wood is solid wood; it's not that "engineered wood" junk that everything seems to be made out of for kids' furniture these days. The wooden slats that are laid across the bed for the under-mattress support are all connected with durable nylon fabric that you just simply roll out into place before you put your mattress on; I was very impressed with that feature as well as the durable woven nylon fabric (I still wouldn't recommend your child being allowed to jump on it though). The slide is also very impressive quality - my six year old son runs up it and is rough on it and it has held up so far with no issues (he's not allowed to jump on it though, so I can't attest to how well it would hold up to repeated jumping on it), but again I was impressed with the quality of the slide overall; before you assemble the slide, the actual plastic slide will seem very thin and chintzy, but once it's constructed to the wooden rails and supports, you will be amazed at how solid it is; as a nervous nelly parent, I feel totally safe with my son playing on it. The slide easily detaches from the bed with no tools required, and trust me when I say that this is a very convenient feature that will be very helpful to you. The fabric that makes up the tent/skirt around the bed is a very decent quality; it's not thin or chintzy at all. Overall I was very satisfied with this bed, and my son loves it!

Excellent buy, weight limit 250 lb for bed, 75 lb for slide

We purchased this bed for my boy who just turned 3. The assembly took us about 1 hour and wasn't bad, however both me and by husband are engineers, so perhaps we have an unfair advantage. The wooden parts come unmarked, so it does seem confusing at first. I found a weight limit online for this bed as 250 pounds for the bed and 75 pounds for the slide. With me and my boy on the bed, we weigh about 190 pounds and the bed seems to take out weight with no problem. We fit my son's toddler bed and frame under the loft part and there's still extra room. I can still squeeze into the toddler bed and turn over, but there isn't enough room to sit up. Our plan is to eventually have our 1 year old daughter share the bunk bed with her brother. The slide seems sturdy and trustworthy. We haven't had any problems with the tent not staying on, however we do leave the tent pieces untied so our son can come in and out with ease. If we do have future issues, we'll use staples to staple on the velcro portions so we can still keep the tent part removable. Our bed came within less than a week. All parts were there and the color was as expected. The holes are slightly misaligned for aesthetic purposes, but physically everything went together well and as it should. My boy loves this bed and my girl is already starting to climb up the slide. I'm very happy with our purchase and would recommend this to anyone with small children.

Great bed!

Pros: The bed is beautiful. It is sturdy and the quality of the wood is phenomenal. The bed was packaged in two boxes with a combined weight of ~100 pounds which made it easy to carry the boxes upstairs. The package arrived within a week of ordering and was delivered to my front door.Cons: The only downside is that not all pieces are labeled well so putting it together can be like working on a puzzle. It took me about two hours to put it together. Second, the wrench provided by the supplier is definitely not capable of screwing 50+ bolts (and they need to be tight) so definitely invest in a power drill (that has torque settings) if you don't have one and a Phillips as well as a 5 prong bit. Most screws require a 5 prong bit. However, the instruction manual lays out the build very logically. A tip would be to put all like pieces in groups and use the pictures (all pictures of pieces are drawn to scale) of the pieces to figure out where each goes as you follow the page by page build in the instruction manual.Additional: Just note that the slide does stick out so this bed may not be appropriate for a small room.Overall: Could not be happier.
