A.O. Smith Signature Premier 6.6-GPM 160000-BTU Indoor Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater

The water heater was recommended as the best one. Not in my case. It was installed, worked once and stopped working. Ai Smith technical service was useless. Requested return from Amazon and was provided a label and informed that if the shipping would be more than 30, to contact the seller. Well, the shipping would be more than 150, so I contacted them and they informed that ao smith does not want them to sell on Amazon, informed me that the installation is not a DIY project and that it needed a certified plumber to do it. Long story short, I ended up with an equipment that does not work and will have to spend 150 more on shipping. Buy it from Lowe’s or any other local store, if you want to risk it. At least you don’t have to pay to ship it to Texas.

Useless very poorly manufactured product, poorly made, poorer customer service, now over $2000 invested between product, plumber, electrician and several days without hot water and still a unit does not work. Stay away from AO Smith products!!!
