Buy one size smaller
I purchased this for a HPDE day and used the size chart provided. The helmets are one size larger then you need. I measured a medium and it was to big. Had to rush order a small.I compared the measurements to my motorcycle helmets and they fit true to size measured. So these helmets just run a size larger.

A good cheap hemet.
This helmet seems to be on the big size. I took my measurements and looked at the manufacture's web site. My sizing is in the medium range so that is what I ordered. The helmet was too big. I ware a medium in Shoei , Arai and Suomy motorcycle helmets. Which are all in the high end of bike helmets and they all fit good. I gad to send this back and get a small. The small size fits pretty well. I haven't been to the track to use it yet but I think it will be fine for an inexpensive auto sports helmet for the random auto x or track day.
