Uncle Ben's Ready Rice, Garden Vegetable 8.8 Oz (Pack of 4)

I like almost all of the Ready Rice family and use them all the time. They are very convenient. I usually add them to some other dish, for a nice, quick 5 minute meal. The Garden Vegetable variety is one of my favorites and it goes good with quite a few things. Nuke the rice for 90 seconds. Add a foil packet of chicken breast, a can of Chicken a la King. Mix it in a bowl, nuke it all for a couple minutes and add some french fried onions on the top, and you have a hearty meal in about 5 minutes prep time.It's pretty good as is or as a side that is very easy to enhance with a little chicken or beef broth and some seasonings. It's a bit expensive, but it keeps on the shelf and is quick and versatile. I always keep several different varieties of these in the pantry and the convenience makes them worth the price.

This is my favorite of this type of Uncle Ben's microwaveable rice. It serves two or three. The flavor is delicious.

Rice is a daily menu item for me. Uncle Ben's Ready Rice, in all of its different varieties, tastes great and is easy to prepare. Just heat and eat. Also, the 8.8 Oz pouch is a perfect size for a good nutritious meal.
