Most rice forces you to purchase enough for 50 people or dinner with 1 friend for a YEAR!! Anyone who buys rice will understand that idea.I love that this rice respects the fact that not everyone wants to have rice every day for a year because they couldn’t find a good quality rice in a small size!This rice is a very good quality, you can use it for every application and recipe where rice is wanted or needed. I’ve cooked it in a pot on the stovetop and in a rice cooker following manufacturer’s instructions and both came out great. I’ve used it to make chook and it broke down very nicely and was mild to eat as chook when I was pretty sick earlier this year. My tummy was very happy.The important thing to know about this product is that it’s very good and it’s RICE in a size that is supremely affordable and convenient so go ahead and purchase with confidence.

I decided to try this type of rice for the first time and I was not disappointed. They retain a lot of moisture after being refrigerated, which makes them perfect for fried rice. Its somewhat sticky texture and neutral flavor makes it ideal to use in other recipes like Jambalaya.

Good price and quality

Hey, it's rice, and a fairly good one. Not a lot of flavor, but the price is right.

I usually get basmatti, but my baby started foods and needed a smaller size rice. This works great and wasn't too sticky. My go to recipe is a bay leaf, salt and pepper, with some olive oil. Bring to boil, cover with lid, then turn off the heat. This came out soft and delicious!

Calrose is my favorite rice. I love its medium grain size and chewy bite. That said, a 1 ½ : 2 ratio (rice : water) gives me the perfect rice.
