Very sturdy!
These were attached to concrete post bases and provided the strength to hold the posts for my garden posts...very solid.

Works perfectly for a 3" light post
This is just what I needed to install a 3" light post above ground. It wasn't possible to dig a hole and cement a light post in the ground where I wanted to install a light. This item mounts on the surface, then the light post fits over it. Then the light. The other mariner adapters are for the light itself, this one is for the post.

Too loose for 3" pole
True to dimensions, but too loose for 3" pole. Leveled the base, but pole was not plumb. Had find a way to keep it snug. Not part of kit!
