Installed a couple weeks ago and so far so good. The rubber had that weird white powder on it and smelled terrible! I had to wash my hands a few times to get the smell off.

Broke within a month
Put it on my van for the side door. Within a month the rubber pretty much peeled off where it bends to slip over the other peace to lock it.

Dorman makes a lot of good parts but these suck. I’ve bought several Dorman hood latches from different venders and they all suck. Complete garbage. Will be going to the Peterbilt dealer for these.
