Wow, this is such a huge help! I create my own cookie recipes using cake mixes. This product is wonderful! Anytime I needed extra dry mix for the dough, I would add self-rising flour. Now, I use this instead! It adds a great cakey texture to the cookies and helps them to rise instead of flattening out during baking. I make a LOT of cookies - known as "Cookie Mom" for my daughters HS Marching band, and typically make up to 600 cookies for an event (3 types of cookies @ 200 each - we have a BIG marching band!). So, this mix has been a huge time saver and has saved me some money in the long run! Thank you so much for having this available!

I used this cake mix for a wedding cake and cupcakes. It took a bit of math for me to figure out how much mix I needed, but totally worth it. Choose your favorite extract, add a miniscule amount and some oil? Literally like I'd made it from scratch. I was so weary but it was worth every penny!

I've been using this brand of cake mix for 20+ years and it's the BEST! You only add water and it is very easy to add other flavors to it such as: lemon emulsion or spices (pumpkin pie spice). You will need a scale because it is meant for commercial bakeries. Otherwise, just a fabulous product.

Works well with just water..I was surprised. The cake tastes very good and is slightly different from a popular brand box cake in a good way. I had to scale down my amounts And I kept the cake mix stored over several months.I also used it for some of the cake mix cookie recipes. Because this is an industrial product I found it to be a bit pricey. I probably will not purchase it again and less the price would go down.

I use mixes from Gordon Food Service and Sysco often. Never a name brand just their brand. So this is my 1st commercial brand. It is easy to make but as is it is not tasty. You'll need to add a lot of Extract or add pureed fruit or chocolate in order to make the bakes palatable. I used whipped icing so it was tasteless topped with tasteless less. I'm sure a buttercream would have helped with flavor.

I bought three of these boxes for my daughter's massive wedding cake and had about a half gallon of batter left over (which we stored in an empty milk container for cupcakes post-wedding). Added white butter flavoring as well as almond extract, but otherwise prepared as directed. Nothing but WATER. So crazy that it tasted as good as it did. I will definitely be purchasing this again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Agree with the advertisement that this mix is flexible and forgiving. My results were very satisfying for a first time user. I sifted the mix and added melted butter to enrich, and voila! Finally I got the texture and consistency I've been looking for. Even after 2 weeks in the frig, cake was still moist and light. Very good price and directions are simple and straight-forward. I'd make this cake and feel proud to take it anywhere. Good job.
