10/10- Christmas 2024 highlight
This has made my Christmas this year. The sounds could be a little louder but this is a great set and works so well under the Christmas tree. I could sit and watch it go round all day.

All aboard
All aboard. This is a great in expensive train set for a Polar Express mad little boy. He loves it and plays with it all year round. May upgrade to the more expensive version in the future but for a 5 year old this is more than adequate.

High price
My son has been asking for a polar express for a long time so I finally bit the bullet and purchased it for Christmas. The toy is a good size, its battery operated moving around the track on its own and shouting out 1 or 2 quotes from the film. Cons: The sound quality isn’t the best and is quite loud, the quality of the track and train overall isn’t worth the price in my opinion but my son was a fan so I suppose that’s what matters.I would recommend it if your child is a fan of the film/book but otherwise it’s overpriced for what you get.

Smashing item
Works exactly as described except.....there are NO silhouettes of the children visible in the carriages as described in the product spiel, otherwise very pleased with the item for the money. So much so I immediately bought my daughter one for her kids !

Doesn’t work
The media could not be loaded. This train set is so flimsy it simply falls apart every time you try and get it to go around the track. The wheels constantly slip from their position, and the fitting for the carriages to fix together is really loose and they break apart. Really poorly made, don’t buy this as a Christmas present!

Fantastic train set for the price
Brought for my train obsessed 4 yr old and I may as well have not bought anything else for Xmas as this is all he's interested in. The track clips together easily for him, the trains hook together nicely and it says on the track really well. He loves the vocals it plays taken from the film which is his favourite film ever. It looks amazing. He loves turning the lights off and seeing it run with the lights on.Money well spent and a lot better made than another train set he was bought by another leading train set provider.
