Im sort of an idiot
OK. So I recently found this awesome lip plumper made by Bite Cosmetics. It has cinnamon oil in it and I really like it...but I want to LOVE it. Im crafty-I can make it better! I scoured my local Vitamin Shoppe & GNC, but I couldn't find cinnamon oil anywhere. Luckily, good old Amazon came thru for me & the Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil came in record time. I was so excited when it came in, I popped the lid off straight away, and put some of the deliciously smelling essential oil directly on my lips. At first, I was disappointed--I mean I only felt a little tiny tingle--bummer.After a couple of seconds, I'd realized I should be a Bluth, because I'd made a huge mistake. Holy moley, did it burn. Like burnnnning burn. You're probably thinking "Oh, It must have been like eating hot wings or something". You would be wrong madam. It was like a tiny Satan was breakdancing on my lips. This must be what it's like if Krampus came & got you.I looked in the mirror thru my teary eyes to find it did in fact plump my lips, but with mascara running down my cheeks, the whole look was ruined. Luckily, the pain subsided after about 20 seconds, at which point I acknowledged I am truly an idiot.I still love this stuff. Im going to find some lip gloss base to dilute it for the perfect plumper. Five Stars!Update: 08/30/2013 I did add this to a lip gloss, and the homemade plumper is awesome.Update to the Update: 10/24/2013 My friend told me the smell of cinnamon subliminally attracts the male of the species. "hrm..." i thought "i totally have some cinnamon oil sitting on my jewelry stand." So I threw on the Young Guns soundtrack & Yes, I did--threw this all over my pulse points. Yes, it shockingly had the same reaction. Instead of the hubbs coming home to a delicious smelling wife, he walked in on me feverishly trying to tend to the bright red welt on my neck & wrists with a wet washcloth. I still think it worked, because dudes love funny chicks and the situation was nothing if not comical.

Excellent oil
It's pure, smells amazing (but strong!) and is extremely high quality. I'm sure it would work amazing in an aromatherapy diffuser. I personally use it for two slightly unconventional uses - lotion and an all-natural lip plumper.I make my own lotion from coconut oil and almond oil (I have very sensitive skin and also feel slightly weird about putting so many crazy sounding ingredients on my skin) and will sometimes add a few drops of this in. It makes it feel a little warming and also really helps with sore muscles if I've recently done an intense workout.I also - and this is the main reason I love this - use it as a lip plumper. I mix about 3 - 4 drops of this into a container of lip salve or shea butter (you could also drop a couple drops into your favorite lip gloss). It is VERY STRONG and you should start with just a few drops. The first time I did this, I added too much and had extremely red, dry lips for a week. But in moderation, it's the best lip plumper I've ever used both in terms of effectiveness and feeling, smelling, and looking great. It never feels sticky or artificial. I've gotten so many compliments and literally given out some homemade shea butter / cinnamon oil lip salve as gifts (I use Now brand shea butter). Highly recommended.

Must give this 4 stars because I love it. (I never give 5 stars
Must give this 4 stars because I love it. (I never give 5 stars, so 4 is excellent in my book.) I bought the cinnamon oil as I read it was really good for the scalp. I haven't yet tried it on my scalp; however, I use it regularly in a mist vapor diffuser. It makes the home smell wonderful! We now have 5 mist diffusers in the home and regularly use them with essential oils. Cinnamon is very nice - has a warm, homey aroma - perfect for the colder months. Also, as I make household cleaners, a few drops of cinnamon in my homemade dust polish is a very nice, aromic touch. There are so many uses for essential oils!Since I now regularly use the diffusers instead of candles, I am very happy with my purchase. I have tried a few essential oils, and Plant Therapy is a brand I like and trust. I have ordered the Plant Therapy tea tree oil and recently refilled that order (I use tea tree oil for several purposes.) When my bottles are empty, I will most likely use Plant Therapy to replace other oils. Is cinnamon my absolute favorite? No. There are probably five others I prefer for various uses, but there is a place for cinnamon oil in my essential oil cabinet. This product arrived packaged nicely, and I received it in 2 days through Amazon Prime.

Works great for lip balm & scent in the home!
I purchased this to add to lip gloss & making lip balms to plump your lips naturally. It works great for that use. I don't know about how it would work in a diffuser or any scent item like that. I can say that it does have a great cinnamon scent! It is VERY strong but not overbearing. I love it. This exact item & brand was recommended to me by someone else who made lip plumping balms. I'm glad I took the recommendation!UPDATE: I did add a few drops of this to my wax warmers. It works GREAT! You won't need to add many drops. I added 4-5 drops & it was perfect. The next time I did it I added more drops.... WAY TOO MUCH! I can absolutely recommend this now for adding to wax warmers for amazing scent in your home. I haven't attempted this in a diffuser. I feel safer adding it to a bit of wax in the warmer because it is so strong.

We love diffusing this oil
We love diffusing this oil. It reminds me of christmas and it smells delicious! It's a stress reliever too. There are a lot of benefits to cinnamon oil. It's linked to shortening the length of the common cold too. I would need to do more research before ingesting this particular brand. Be careful with this one around kids too. It's a strong scent.
