Nordic Ware Meat Grill Microwave Spatter Cover, 10-Inch, Multicolor

I like the way it cooks my bacon.

Cleans up easily. Does a great job helping to keep your microwave clean.

Great for my new GE microwave convection oven bought from Amazon.

Cooker seems to do well—bacon is evenly done. The "deluxe" lid, however, literally melted during the very first batch of bacon cooked under it. See photo. Cheap junk. As the photo shows, it is labeled "For microwave use only". I would say, "For no use of any kind." Did they literally not test the lid while cooking bacon?

Everything reaches the end of a life cycle. Purchased this to replace the existing model that was probably 20 years old. The base had picked up some discoloration that just wouldn't come clean even when bleached.It basically lived in the microwave, and the cover had a few spots when other items placed on top of it got so hot they "melted" or deformed the top. It was past time for a retirement send off.

I haven't used the bottom part yet, but I WISH the cover had some tab or had a way of hanging it up on the wall. Right now, it lives on top of the microwave with a tv tray with other stuff on top of the microwave. I haven't figured out how to hang it so it's not on a flat surface, but reachable near the microwave. My cabinets are SUPER small, so I don't have that much room to store it, plus, the whole point is to have the cover handy. I think it could be a bit larger in diameter. I don't think my plates are overly large, but it doesn't cover the edges of the plate. I own older Nordic Ware and they were much thicker and seemed higher in quality. Like everything else, quantity and quality is lessening. I think this product works as described. Then handle is formed out of the semi-opaque lid, which can make it difficult to pick up if you have a medium to large hand. Other than no method of hanging and the handle is a little iffy, it should work for most cooks.

The 'grill side' ribbing is too shallow, as is the reservoir for the cooking juices. I had hot juice slop onto my fingers while removing the cooked meat from the microwave the first time I used it to cook pork loins. That also made for a fairly extensive cleanup of the microwave interior and counter area. I've counteracted that problem by adding 2-3 layers of paper towels under the meat before cooking, but the manufacturer needs to redesign the ribbing and reservoir depth on the grilling side to be 3 times deeper.I have not used the flat side to date.

Looks good but is 11" rather than 10".Wish there was a smaller version.

I've used a Nordic Ware deep microwave dish for decades, and am very happy with it; however, due to the depth of the dish it was awkward to remove fish fillets without having them fall apart. Since this grill doesn't have sides, I bought it to solve my problem. While the grill and cover work fine, I'm disappointed with its quality. It's almost as though the dish had been returned to Nordic Ware and repackaged, since it had a Nordic Ware sticker on the grill. However, after the first use, the dish developed a number of unsightly "scars" along the edges, which are impossible to clean out. Notwithstanding this deficiency, the grill still fulfills its purpose. Just sad that a company that previously made such durable products has let quality control lapse...

Al primer uso la tapa se derritió en el micro, la base me ha funcionado súper bien para drenar la grasa que sale del tocino, y la limpieza pues también es algo complicado, pero eso me parece normal, al final estás cocinando grasa.Las dos estrellas es por la tapa, ya que fue el motivo principal de mi compra

Bought the meat grill/plate with lid. Love that the plate is 2 sided grilled/flat. Great it has a splatter lid. Good and strong.

Thought it was the answer to cooking bacon in the microwave. It's not. The bacon cooks uneven. The bottom tray has cracked from use. Tried 10 min at power level 5 and that didn't work. You have to be very careful taking it out of the microwave.... the steam coming out of the vent holes cause burns.

Me agrada, a pesar de que un buen mexicano calienta sus tortillas en comal o sarten, este producto lo hace muuuy bien, una vez incluso hice una hamburguesa congelada y quedó, se adapta genial a tu cocina.
