BieyeL10796 Mission Tiffany Style Stained Glass Table Lamp with Wooden Base, 26 inches Tall

The media could not be loaded. My mom has a “Mission wood” theme in her bedroom furniture. I saw this lamp several months ago and thought it would be perfect to help tie the room together. But at $300, it was out of my price range. Recently, the Bieye company put a slightly damaged one up for sale at a considerable discount. It had a small chip out of the corner of one of the glass pieces in the lamp shade, and it was barely visible. So I pulled the trigger and ordered it.Unfortunately when it came in, that chipped corner was totally broken off, it could have happened in shipping. Luckily I was able to superglue the piece back to the glass, and I even found the missing “chip” and glued that as well. I then had to add some superglue along the corners where the glass meets the wood to hold it solid. I did a good job and you would never know it had broken unless I showed you the place.The Bieye company gave me an extra partial refund for the added damage and the work I had to put into it, which means I was able to get this high-quality lamp at a price I could afford. My mom loves it and it really fits with her room well. I swapped all the bulbs out for LED’s so that the light would create little to no heat.There are NO other lamps on the market of this wood mission style. Believe me I looked. It’s a unique piece that is well built and I’m going to remember this company for their customer service and quality of their products. This lamp is a great piece, it’s well built, and this company will take care of you.

I bought two of these.For this lamp, the craftsmanship goes into the exquisitely executed woodwork. The design and proportions are very Frank Lloyd Wright. Beautiful!On the other hand, the "stained glass" is only four single-piece trapezoids in the shade and four rectangles in the base. No intricate cuts nor welding. The foil is basically yellow.The power cord is pretty short and employs an in-line switch. I replaced the cords on both lamps to avoid extension cords and to eliminate the in-line switches. Also not crazy about the 3-way control switch, but it works.Once they had been modified and set up, I was pleased with the style and the light output. I believe your decision will depend upon your taste and what you consider a true stained glass lamp.

Great looking piece. Consider lower wattage bulbs or a dimmer extension which works even better.

it is a large lamp for a table lamp. It has a light in both the base and the actual lamp. It is very easy to put together, only the shade has to be screwed on. It is easy to operate. It gives a very cozy yellowish glow. It may vary, I just used relatively low wattage bulbs, it takes two. The wood looks good quality and the entire lamp looks sturdy and it would last a long time. Good purchase. Well made. It looks like a museum piece.
