I had been using the ham flavor package that came with bean soup since its vegetarian, but I was tired of trying to find ways to use the beans. This with a little liquid smoke is the best. I've used it several times and each recipe has turned out well.

I never write reviews, but...Don't remember how I stumbled upon this stuff but I've bought it 4 more times since.I use it in soup, pot pie, gravy, pilaf. It's very very good, and so much easier than having to squish up a bullion cube

It's actually really hard to find a base that's vegetarian... Better yet... Vegan. I'm a vegetarian and I found this, thought I'd try it... Was pleasantly surprised. It was extremely cheap as well. Usually I have to pay with pieces of my soul (or so I feel) every time I get anything that is an alternative to meat. This made me feel good to find. Although, I have no idea what meat tastes like anymore, since I've been a vegetarian since I was 7 years old... And I'm now 36... I found this quite enjoyable. It was supposed to be chicken flavored...but who knows if it really was! Lol. All I know is that it tasted good.

We have found this to be an excellent flavoring for certain vegan soups, and "meat like" dishes.

This broth is awesome - makes tasty gravy. Very pleased - adds actual flavor not just saltiness like most vegetarian & vegan broths. This is a new staple for my "meat free" kitchen! Orrington Farms - thank you...

Only buy this now. Much easier than the cubes.

I’ve been buying these for years now to cook for my spouse who had been vegetarian. I love the taste so much that I still cook with every flavour even now. Fantastic, amazing tasting product. Can use in anything to replace bouillon or broth.

I would say it taste like chicken.I haven't taste chicken for years but from what I remember it taste like chicken. Thankfully it doesn't smell like chicken:) otherwise I would be vomiting.I recommend it.Small for the price that's why I am giving it 4 stars

I love this vegan broth base. When I can, I make vegetable broth but sometimes I find that I need to store more important things in my freezer, enter this vegan broth base. I can control the intensity by adjusting how much I add to my recipe. It’s not overly salty and has a nice taste. It definitely helps round out flavours for many dishes like soups, pot pie, gravy, etc..

This vegan mix goes with everything you’re in the mood for. The jar doesn’t stay full long, we’re going to have to order more soon
