Impressively sturdy truck
We purchased this truck in December of '22 as a Christmas gift for our then 3 and 1 year old. They loved it and still do. Our house can be very "destructive" to cheap plastic toys, but despite consistent use this truck has held up very well. We have misplaced one or two of the stabilizer legs and the hook keeper on the front of the truck had to be super glued back on (although you could do without it). Once or twice we have had to re-string the cable, which is very easy. And one of the mirrors succumbed to constant attempts to remove it. But none of these things has detracted from the enjoyment of this toy at all. The hook is a sturdy metal - no fun ruined from a bent or cracked hook. The cable gear mechanism works great still. The extension and angle knobs still work great, despite being driven past their maximum and minimum many times. A few reviews mention that the doors do not open, which we think is a good thing because I suspect they would just get broken off anyway. Overall, after a year of it being loved, used, and abused, 10/10 I would recommend this truck.

Expensive but solid!
This is not your everyday toy, really solid truck that survives small kids on the “driver” seat. A bit expensive for a toy, but it is durable.

okay crane doesn’t get very tall compared to others we looked at and it’s very loud when winding up.

our grandsons favorite Christmas gift!
He said he needed a crane to pick things up.He loves it. Its a substantial kid sized working crane, he can use without help ( much to the disappointment of his dad)Bruder toys are well made, but they will break if you abuse them, Fortunately Bruder sells replacement parts too,

Expensive but worth it
My 3 years old kid absolutely loves this truck (and gotta admit his 33 years old dad enjoys playing with it too 😅)

Very well built toy.
My grandson had been watching heavy machiney at a construction site and he was so fascinated by the crane truck. He asked for one for Christmas and of course Amazon had one and here we are!My grandson loves his Bruder Crane Truck and I am very pleased with it. It is very well constructed and my grandson has been playing with it outside for a few months and it has not shown any wear or tear. All the movable parts still work and there aren't any dents or paint that is missing and he plays very rough with the crane. The only problem that I have found is that the string that has the hook on it has broken. I have fixed it and it seems to fine now.Overall a very well built, tough toy that seems indestructible.

We love Bruder trucks!
From my 4-year-old: "I like to lift stuff with it. I play construction with it. Play building houses. Play with it with my friends. Play with it with my mom and dad. That's all." Like all Bruder trucks, this one is very well made. The stabilizers don't pull out from under the truck, they're clipped onto the back and you have to slide them into the slots. Getting them back into the clips at the back was harder for my son. The rope to the hook is silvery so it looks sort of like a cable, which is nice. The hook itself is metal and quite heavy. It's been a good physics lesson to figure out that in order to extend the boom, the hook has to be lowered so there is enough rope for the boom to slide out under!
