I was looking for a pannier for a commuter bike for my girlfriend. She has a blue bike that is cruiser style, therefore I had a strict criteria for a pannier that would match and work well.1. not an 'outdoor' like material2. Something she can take off the bike and carry with her into wherever she goes. Panniers without that feature doesn't make sense! Why would you leave the bag and belongings on a bike, outside.3. If you're looking for a pannier for bopping around town, for grocery shopping, or going to work this is it. I haven't seen what its like in adverse weather, however. I would definitely recommend this product. It also arrived a day early.

Just received the bike panniers, and very happy with them! They seem very high quality and in my little test (poured water over them) seem pretty water resistant. I wouldn't expect to be able to ride for many hours in a downpour, but they seem OK for short stints in inclement weather. I plan to use a dry bag inside the panniers for things like my laptop when I'm commuting in the winter.

These saddle bags are convenient because you can just leave them on the bike and roll them up when not in use. I got them because they conceal my ebike's rack battery, making it look like a normal bike unless you look carefully. Unfortunately they're poorly designed to the point of being unsafe.They are held onto the rack with snaps. These are obviously not secure at all and will come undone at any bump if the bags are carrying any weight. I heavily modified mine to make it attach with webbing straps and side release buckles, and ziptied one of the metal d rings to the back of my rack.Because the bags can roll up, the backs are totally unreenforced. The only rigid part of the bags is a small foldable base on each side. This is not sufficient to prevent them from warping when full or twisting on the rack, so you have to load them very carefully to make sure they don't bend dangerously into your spokes. Even if they don't initially they may shift when you stop or go over a bump. I imagine they're better with a touring rack that has arms that stick out. Alas, my rack does not have this feature and is built into the bike.For the cost you can do MUCH better. These are attractive and seem made of reasonably high quality materials but the design is unsafe and ineffective.

Love the look of this bag compared to the plastic look of most waterproof bags. The colors are deep, and the bag has a luxurious look akin to the Longchamp Le Pliage purse. Although I just got it, I expect the bag to be fairly durable because the walls are constructed of heavy nylon-type material. The stitching looks okay. The snaps are a bit suspect but should do fine with care (i.e. don't bump or snag them on objects).

Like the way these look and that I can carry it in as a shoulder bag. Fits well. A little bit cumbersome to take on and off the bike because it's held on by snaps, but still not difficult.

I was looking for a pannier bag for ages. I wanted something classic and simple that I wouldn't be embarrassed to carry around (I bike to/from work and don't want to be carrying a neon orange bag or some nonsense around the office), but also weather-resistant and roomy. Fortunately, this bag fulfilled all those needs and more. I love the snaps that allow you to roll up one side and attach it securely to your bike rack. I am so in love with this bag. Maybe I'll even buy another in another color!

It's a well made bag. Looks great on my Electra Loft! Shipping time wasn't bad, considering it came from China(about 10 days). I would certainly order from Tourbon again.

Good color and appearance overall. I didn't like the lack of sub-compartments or smaller pouches anywhere in the bags so I returned it. :-/
