Perfect!
I installed this on Saturday and it started raining that night… it’s Thursday am and we have gotten at least 2 inches of rain daily with more to come. That being said my interior is dry - no leaking. Opening it is a little slow but that’s just me I’m sure, once it’s opened several times I’m sure it will be easier to do.It also looks great. No excess wind noises. Couldn’t be happier.

Instant open air driving!
Best upgrade I’ve made to my 2015 Jeep Rubicon. Easy to install and works great. Flip two levers and boom - open air driving. It’s a little louder than the freedom panels, but not bad. Highly recommend!

Okay
Great top but can’t really handle heavy wind blown rain, causes leaks.

Took a chance, but had to return it. Shame on you Bestop!
I really wanted to love this product. I read every review (its great, go buy it, needs longer hardware, fit is not good, leaks water, etc).I took a chance to see what it was like. Install was kind of cumbersome. If the instructions were written better, then this would be a different story. I've been using Bestop products for nearly 20 years on my 94 YJ and they have been nothing but top notch. This sunrider top is definitely high quality and looks great. The convenience of unlatching and flipping the top back and not worrying about it bouncing of flying up at highway speeds (60-70mph) is super nice. Almost worth the cost of it alone. But it falls short in the fit/compatibility department.Unfortunately the fit is horrible, I tried re-seating the top several times. Even removed and reinstalled my whole hard top to make sure it wasn't misaligned or something. Nothing changed the way it fit. The top stuck up about 1/2" above the windshield line on either side so it just caught air on the highway and had some annoying wind noise. The rear of the top where theres a nice rubber gasket never sat flush to the hard top like it should have and ultimately leaked water.I contacted Bestop customer service and was basically told it works sine for most customers and Jeep basically changes seal designs over the years. I understand there are mfg changes, but Bestop should be able to at least provide an update or fix on how to make a product work with all Wranglers, especially if the claim its compatible with all 07-17 Wranglers. When I asked if there was a local installer that they recommended that I could take it to and have them look over the install to make sure I'm doing this right, the agents response was "I guess.....". Pretty sad when I spent $700 for a top and they customer service doesnt really seem like they care.Basically I tried it and ended up returning it. I've lost my faith in Bestop. It used to be that anytime someone asked about tops or accessories for a Jeep I'd point them to Bestop. This left a sour taste in my mouth so I'll need to revise my recommendations going forward. Also, be careful! This top actually tore my factory windshield header seal. I'm not happy about that. I can see what caused it on the sunrider. I've included pictures. You can see both the Left and Right side of the header seal is torn. Also you can see the nub or part of the plastic header on the sunrider that presses down on it and eventually tore it. I only had this top on for a week and it ruined the header seal. If this leaks water with my factory freedom panels on, I'll be pissed and you can be sure I'll be billing Bestop for the cost to repair it.

Easy installation
1 hours install, easy. Excellent fit. Going on 5 weeks or so. Absolutely love it. Surprised that wife said same. Multiple rain storms, no leaks, even at highway speed during rain. Yeah, a little louder but it makes me want to open it.

First class product (with only one installation problem that needs addressing by Besttop)
Installed this top yesterday. Took around an hour due to the two screws (left & right sides) not reaching the well nut at the top of the supplied door rails. The left side would finally begin to catch the threads in the rail but would not go all the way into the hole without stopping. After much cursing and sweating and stripping out the allen head portion of the screw because it would jam at the top of the hole, I suspected that the threads were not machined properly so I used the correct size metric tap and screwed it through the hole. Just as I suspected, when it got very close to the top of the welded in nut, there was some steel in the threads that was not cut away when the mfg. tapped it. After clearing the obstruction with the tap, it went right in and tightened down like it should. As I said above, both screws were difficult to install but I had previously read (before purchasing this top) that this was a common problem. The right side was not obstructed and also finally threaded caught the threads and snugged up. (BTW: I had watched five different videos re. how to install the top before ordering it and also watched the video from Besttop re. tips for installation of this specific top but those two pesky screws are probably going to give the majority of people a problem when they attempt to install them. There's a lot of space before the screw threads can begin to reach the threads. I used to do all of the maintenance and repairs on my motorcycles for 45 years so I had metric screws on hand as well as a metric tap & die set so I didn't have to run around to hardware stores to find another metric screw or take it to someone with a metric tap & die set. Other than this problem, the rest of the installation is very straightforward. This is a first-class product that works well and looks fantastic on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. Besttop really does need to address this screw problem because (IMO), it shouldn't be this difficult to get a simple screw into a hole; especially by someone who has worked with tools & machinery for many, many years. I recommend the product highly to anyone who doesn't like to remove & reinstall the Freedom Top panels every time they want some fresh air in their face. The top works flawlessly (once it's properly installed and tightened down). p.s.: Forgot to say that after completing the installation, I ran some serious water all over the top for over five minutes with ZERO leaks. I'm a happy camper re. the quality of this convertible top.
