Rand McNally M-Series Full-Color Laminated United States Wall Map, 50 x 32 Inches (RM528960911)

Using this map for my travel map photo project. I am putting pictures of each state I have visited and hope to eventually have this map filled up. I ordered this map specifically because of the sizes of each state. I recently went to Hawaii, and noticed on many maps that you can BARELY see Hawaii, let alone to be able to see a picture of us visiting. I found this map had Hawaii pretty visible and decided to try it. I have to admit when I received the map, it was VERY BIG! Much bigger than I thought it would be. I contemplated returning this but realized if I got any smaller of a map the smaller states would be impossible to see. Texas is at least an 8x10 photo, while Connecticut is 1 inch by maybe 2 at the most. At least with that size I am able to put my picture from Connecticut on this map. Any smaller would have not allowed me to make my craft. This map is laminated and comes rolled up not folded. Great colors and able to see ALL states. Would recommend buying. Great for the price!

This product is exactly what I was looking for to hang up in my office. This was great quality and laminated nicely. This was delivered to me without being bent, which was a concern of mine. I framed this map and use it in my office for Decoration. The map is clear and easy to read.

This map is of excellent quality, came in a roll and was very easy to work with. Did leave it out for a week with books on the corners to get it to lay flat before use. Perfect map to frame and hang on your wall.Very clear

I purchased the world map as well as this one and I am thrilled at the number of my students who enjoy looking at this map. I have used stickers to show where I have traveled throughout the US and I provide stickers for my special education students to plot out where they have been as well. I have used the map for many different discussions with my students. My husband and I plan on purchasing a second map for our family room so as our little guy grows up he can look on the map and figure out where he wants to take a vacation.

This map is must what I had in mind. We bought another map that showed the world, That was a very good map also but we wanted just the USA .This map of the USA is perfect. It is colorful, the state's are well shown and it is on a stiffer paper. It is covered with a plastic so the finger prints won't mess it up. I would suggest this map.

Use it to place stickers on all the places we visit. Had a similar map when I was a kid hanging on the wall in my room. Kids will learn geography my osmosis with maps on the wall. They will study it and check things out and the parents will probably never enven know they are doing it.

This map is even better in person. The colors are bright and the national parks really stand out. I gave it as a gift and he loved it. One thing - it comes rolled up really really tight, so if you are giving it as a gift and are a freak about things, you will want to unroll it and weight it down for a while. The size would be good for a classroom, I also think this would make cool art.
