GROTE Jazz Electric Guitar Simi-Hollow Body Vintage Sunburst GTJJ01

I have always wanted an es-175 style guitar, but the price, even for Epiphone or Ibanez variation was too high, since I am not a very active/good guitarist. I combined the purchase with opening an Amazon credit card and got this for less than $200.It came from the seller perfectly set up. Build quality and finish are very good, not as good as a full Gibson, but very good. I think this is basically a very inexpensive Ibanez Artcore. It plays perfectly, with no need to mess with the action. I cannot be more pleased.Read all the reviews carefully, some of the import guitars will require a lot of post delivery set up work. This is my second Grote and both have been perfect right out of the box.

The one I received had a twisted neck and had a divot sanded into the top, I assume to remove a flaw in the wood. I sent mine back

I am a professional musician of 23 yrs..The quality of this guitar blew me away!! A couple very minor finish laquer bumps. But almost invisible. The look is amazing!! The pickups are warm and rich. I'd put them at a $600.00 Ibanez or Epiphone level. Not quite Probuckers, but gets close. An incredible value. Thanks again Grote!!

This is a very nice guitar for the price. Other than changing strings, it's good to go. Sounds very good, actually surprising. Not perfect compared to high end brands, but well exceeds my expectations. This is not just another guitar, sets well with my collection. Thank you!
