Alienware Area-51M 17.3-inch Sleeve – Reflective Graphics (ME-MUSS1-15)

Fit my alienware area 51M. finnaly find something that fit my laptop :)

I needed a protective sleeve to store my 16 inch graphic drawing tablet, and this AlienWare 17inch sleeve fits perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. There are no additional pockets, just the one which is accessed via a top zipper unlike most other sleeves.The inside is padded and lined with a soft fleece type of fabric to prevent scratches to the surface of my drawing tablet or a laptop. The zipper action is smooth and even offers a protected zipper cover which should help keep accidental spills from damaging the contents inside.Slim profile, sleek modern aesthetic makes it suitable for professional environments. 5-stars.

I was only looking for a laptop sleeve for my Area51M R2 and thought this will fit my unit.If you have an Alienware Area51M R2, this will NOT FIT. The construction of the item is great and exactly as described. There was no warning though, that this will fit the previous Area51M R1 and not the R2. But the thing is I think the size of Area51M R1 and R2 is almost the same.I am not sure if what was sent to me was the wrong item, but I cannot return it anymore as I had this shipped to Australia. Hoping Alienware Store will give a partial refund for an unusable item.

This fits the 17" Alienware laptop really comfortably, and pads and protects it nicely too. I really like that the zipper is on top, so if I slide it into a bag, I can easily slip out my laptop without having to unpack everything. It has the cool Alienware logo on the side in a kind of metalic fabric. Really a nice accessory for a 17" laptop but particularly if you have an Alienware.

I actually did not buy this to fit the Area-51M laptop, but instead got it for my M17 R3. In the product description it keeps going back and forth saying that it will fit that model and not fit it, which threw me and a lot of people off.I finally got it and was able to fit my M17 R3. It is meant for the Area-51M, so do expect it to be much bigger. It only has enough space to fit the laptop and not the chargers.Overall, very nice design and the padding is great. The bag itself is not very versatile and will not fit into smaller backpacks. What I mean by versatile is that the sleeve has resistance against bending and folding, so any unfilled space you have, you can't fold the sleeve to make it fit into smaller backpacks.

The cool laptop sleeve fits my Alienware I7 with room to spare. The construction quality is great. The zippers feel hefty and the sleeve is shaped, instead of just a tight sleeve. The interior is soft and I like the bright red color. The exterior fabric also seems like it's high quality too. The reflective coating is cool looking. It's more subdued than shown in the official pictures unless the light hits it in just the right way. At first glance, this case is nothing special and that's exactly what I want. If I'm traveling, no one needs to know that I have an expensive laptop. I can enjoy looking at the reflective symbols and personally enjoy them without calling attention to myself.

This case has a weight of 14oz. The design on the front does not show-up all that well. But of course it depends upon how the light hits it.The outside color is black. Much darker black in-person, than it looks in the picture. The inside is bright orange. Two zippers with tags on the top. Handel is on one side only. I wish there was a handle on each side.This case has no pockets. . . either on the inside or outside.This case is Made in China. At the current price of forty bucks, I think it’s a bit expensive for what it is. Again. . . I wish it had two handles. . . perhaps even a shoulder strap. . . and some pockets.

This Alienware laptop sleeve is very sturdy and well-cushioned, but still relatively lightweight. It's large and will fit up to a 17.3-inch size Alienware laptop.It opens on the short side and has two big zippers that slide easily and generously sized, thick zipper pulls. The loop top handle is small but sturdy. The reflective Area 51 logo looks good, and the soft inner lining is bright red. There are lots of little details that make it nicer than a less expensive generic sleeve, so overall I'm pleased.
