This protects to a certain extent
This protects to a certain extent but not the screen what so ever. The case is somewhat bulky and I wish they still had protection like they did with the s8 . The ones they make now have no screen protector and my phone broke in less than 6 months. The otterbox defender pro series still makes sturdy plastic cases that outdoes most of the competition but if you drop it your screen almost always breaks anyways.

It's a good case
It's pretty big an hard to hold one handed is why I done 4 stars.. I am so clumsy an drop my phone ALL THE TIME! This case has not let my phone get one scratch or crack yet (knock on wood) an I've had it about 6 months or so!!!
