Well made
I used this to replace my existing meter socket which had been damaged by heating from a poorly-fastened wire. Everything about it was great, although it was 3/4" taller than the exiting meter socket so I had to move the main panel down that far. I could have bought a replacement part for my exiting meter socket for about $200 but this was less than 1/3 the cost and looks nicer too.

Nice Meter base box. Room to work, but securely holds the meter
The only thing I would like to see included with this meter base is the cover for the hole in the top. I'm using underground supply line, and it is inconvenient to have to run out and buy a cover when they could include them for only a small increase in price. Otherwise, well made, easy install and quality design.

Let me tell you, I am so thankful for Amazon selling products like this. I without a doubt, had been sick over not being able to find an electric meter box here in my town. Our electric company had warned us that the wires outside of our home needed to be replaced ASAP, just 1 week before Christmas. Come to find out, Amazon had just what we needed and at a very affordable price for such a high quality item!This meter box was easy to attach to the side of our house and came completely put together, ready to go! The 200 entrance line ran to the bottom and 100amp load line ran to the top. It’s been holding up very well!
