Outdoor paint

Good paint but poorly packaged
I like this brand of paint but poorly packaged & can arrived dented all over & had leaked out a little. I did not request refund or return product as I completed painting project with no issues.

its no good paint
This was the worst paint I have ever tried to use. It was full of some kind of small flecks like plastic. I got these filtered out and then tried to spray thru my wagner sprayer and the paint had some kind of jell globe in it that would not go thru the filter in the sprayer. After finally mixing and thining the paint it went thru the sprayer with out the filters in place but id did not cover very well. All the fence now looks like the color of the boards bleed thru the paint.

Yeah it's barn paint
Very thin. It's like water. Two coats covers really well. First coat really soaks in and the second goes on much easier.

I received the package and it was damaged paint can was dented the paint leaked all over the box.Very disappointing.

I built a 12' x 20' garden shed and was looking for a good barn paint to cover the rough sawn boards I used for the siding. I used this Valspar Barn paint both as the primer (first coat) and finish (second coat). The coverage was great over the very rough hemlock boards. The shed looks awesome - even to my wife who was skeptical of my choice of color scheme. Now my wife wants me to paint her tree house with the same paint.

An inexpensive alternative!
I must admit....I was looking for the cheap way out when painting the bottom floor of my house. I knew I liked Valspar paint, but didn't feel like spending $40+ per gallon. I decided to take a chance on this. It paid off! Very inexpensive compared to others and it left a smooth, clean, even finish (after 2 coats). Clean up was simple. A little water and that's all it took. Little to no odor either! Will definitely be buying more!
