Was first turned onto this product by my barber. I loved the smell of it when he used it. I left the shop and had to call back and ask what product had been used, then immediately ordered it from Amazon.Not only does it smell great it works great as well and is versatile. I put it on dry hair and wet hair and get completely different looks with it. It does clump up the dry hair like my old Redken clay product used to. When applied to we hair it kinda gives that semi gel texture but with flexibility.Definitely will be buying this again!

Smells Amazing and has Great Hold

Product works as stated, however, I couldn’t get over the scent. I’ve been using the matte clay for a while now and love the smell so I figured I’d try another of the STMNT line. The scent, however, was headache-inducing not only for me but others around me. I’ll be sticking with the dry clay for now.

This product is amazing! I style my hair in a fauxhawk, and it's always been tough finding something lightweight that still delivers serious hold — but this does it perfectly. It’s not gummy or greasy at all, and it keeps my hair looking great for a couple of days without needing to reapply.I was also impressed that the container was filled to the top — unlike most brands that skimp below the lid line. Great value, great performance. I’ll definitely be purchasing again once I run out!

This product is very great quality and smells so good. My barber introduced it to me. Keep in mind I am very picky when it comes to product and this stuff makes your hair sit just right with a great shine!!!

I really tried to love this product... Allow me to give details ..First, is it a great product? It is, let me state the good!Scent: Very strong but refreshing scent, smells of the beach "coconut" that lasts all day. I really love the scent tremendously.Shine: has the right amount of shine, exactly what I was looking for. I'm at an age where father time is catching up with my hair and I wanted a product that gives me a light shine and this is indeed perfect for me.Amount of use: a little goes a long way, this product goes on very smoothly, its trial and error with the amount you actually need to use, so start off with a little and build from there.Now the bad (which is just my bad, not everyone else's)Greasy (Amount of use):I am an Executive Chef, which means I'm in very hot temps all day, constantly moving, constantly sweating, and this flows with the sweat. Which makes my face shiny, no matter the amount I use it doesn't stay on my hair, it drips with the sweat which also irritates my eyes. So be very careful with the amount you use.Heaviness:I bought this for not only the scent it claimed, I bought it for the strong hold. This product isn't thick by any means when putting it on your hair, but for some reason it weighs down the front of my hair. I have curly/wavy hair, and I have a hard time styling the front of my hair as no matter what I do it seems to be weighed down.Hold: this is definitely not a strong hold by any means, at least for me it doesn't hold any style that I try doing and only worsens when I'm in the kitchen cooking for many hours. Although I have thick curly wavy hair, that is now slightly thinning, it makes my hair look worse (thinning wise) because it weighs the front of my hair down.Washability:Unfortunately, this isn't easy to wash off, I have to shampoo twice to get it completely off my hair and if I had sweat tremendously that day, it's also hard to wash off my face. It leaves my face so greasy looking at times.Softness:This completely has zero hold, at least for my hair, but it does leave my hair feeling very soft, a little too soft which prevents me to be able to style my hair properly.Now, this is a great product and I'm sure it's perfect for other types of hair that is not curly wavy, I love the scent, but I find myself using this product and another one in order to style my hair the way I love it styled! Which means now I'm paying a lot for this product and have to buy another product in order to style it. For me it's not worth it. However, it may work for you, the scent alone is worth it, but to have to use another product to style your hair in combination with this product is costly. And I don't use sprays to get the hold I need.If you have great naturally looking hair and want to give it a light shape and great smell, this is the product for you. Or if you want to give your hair a great coconut scent that's strong, this is a great product.Unfortunately, it just didn't work for me.
