Chrysler Jeep Dodge 6.5inch Kicker Speaker Upgrade Set of 2 Mopar OEM

After reading the great reviews I ordered installed the first set in the rear speaker bar with a noticeable difference in the bass and clarity over the stock cheap speakers. Very impressed with the quality of these speakers for the price. After the difference seen in the rear, I immediately ordered a set for the front dash. I installed those today. The rear install was simple and the fronts took a bit more time. I definitely recommend watching the YouTube videos to save some aggravation, then they are pretty easy to switch out in the front. I didn’t remove the drivers side housing, just pulled the trim back enough to remove and reinstall using a small ratchet driver with a Phillips head. I did remove the passenger side housing since it was easy to get out and I couldn’t reach the speaker screws. Once i installed all 4 speakers, it sounds great and a big improvement over stock. It won’t blow you away with bass, but it does sound a lot better with the stock head unit. I did use some polyfil baffling in all areas, but not too sure if that made any difference. I couldn’t tell any difference in the rear without and with the baffling. These speakers are a great choice for an easy reasonably priced plug and play replacement in your Jeep!

Obvious difference over the plastic basket, paper cone, no tweeter, toy speakers originally installed in my pickup. Crystal clear hi frequency, much improved bass!! Replaced all 4 in my 2011 Dakota. Took me about 2 hours, not being in any hurry. Well worth every penny and installation time!! Very happy with this upgrade!!! Should have been installed from the factory.

I got these for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. They are a huge improvement over the stock speakers.The installation for the rear speakers in the overhead bar is very very easy. Unscrew the old ones and replace them with these. The wiring harness matches right up.The front install is a royal pain. You have to remove parts of the dash and wiggle and cuss to get the old speakers out. I also found the mounts did not perfectly line up and had to cut off a plastic lip on the speaker box to get the speakers to mount flush. More wiggling and cussing and I got them back in.It was worth the hassle as the speakers are way way better than stock. I have a Kenwood stereo and with it and these speakers I get pretty good base for not having a sub woofer.

Kicker did an excellent job with these speakers. They sound so much better than factory in the Jeep Wrangler soundbar and the front speakers in the dash. As far as price, I really overpaid on Amazon and figured out after they were installed that the retail price is around $60 from dealer while I paid $90+ on Amazon. I tried to get them price matched with customer support but they refused.The install was easy as pie in the soundbar. Don’t forget to grab some polyfil for the soundbar and fill it up so you don’t have any rattling from the much better sounding bass. I actually have these powered with a Rockford Fosgate 400 watt x 4 Power series amp and it really brought them to life. They sounded much better than factory with the factory headunit powering them and the later installed Pioneer headunit powering them, but the amp took them to an entirely new level.The front two were a bear to install. Since they were in the dash instead of the doors it took a ton of effort. They are installed in small boxes that should be filled with polyfil as well and aren’t easy to remove and reinstall. With that said, it’s totally doable and worth the time and effort. Just price check around before you pay the fluctuating cost here.

Speakers fit perfect. No issues with install. Takes about 1 1/2 hours to replace all speakers. They sound really good.

This was on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Replaced sound bar and knee panel speakers. I am not a stereo tech I just know when I play music and the audio is distorted terribly, I knew something was wrong. I installed these Mopar upgrades and the audio cleaned right up. It made a noticeable improvement over stock to my ears so that is all that matters to me. The part I like about these speakers was the plug and play and no adapting anything! Pay attention to the tab when installing, the large tab must be in the correct position so it mounts correctly. It is also easier on the passenger side after removing the glove box to remove the 3 screws (7mm socket) under the glove box and pop the side panel off and remove the two screws (7mm socket) that hold the speaker box and there is one 10mm bolt underneath that hold the speaker box that should be removed, unplug the speaker in the back of the box and wiggle the speaker box out the opening where the glove box was. Then remove and install the speaker and wiggle the box back in place.

Came as shown, I replaced all four speakers in my Wrangler. The best sound quality at this price point and easy installation. It took me about 1hr and 45 mins to install doing it alone, in the dark and not all the screws are easy to get to. It was a pretty straight forward removal and install. I would recommend watching a YouTube video first, I did that and didn't really have to follow the instructions page for page. The is like night and day from the factory speakers. So worth the money!

These are plug n play for my 2017 wrangler. Super easy install. However, I put in cheaper 6.5” speakers in the lower dash and those sound much better. These kickers are overpriced for the sound you get. I will say the problem could be the sound bar itself even though I added sound batting. Still worth it for the ease of install I just wish they sounded as good as the cheaper speakers.
