Curious George Goes Camping

The George books are all awesome! Our 4 year-old son has liked every one, and we've liked them. They're pretty quick and easy reading, takes 3-5 minutes to complete, depending on how long he want's to look at each page after you're done reading them. But they are good, cute stories, just like the shows, he laughs out loud and comments quite a bit as we're reading. If you watch the show and haven't read any of the books before, they are very similar in style and look to each other, as close as a kids book to a kids show can be. No one book has been any better or worse than any of the others, they're all very good. We will probably end up buying them all.

We threw my 4 year old a quarantined birthday party so we had to come up with something that didn’t require going anywhere. Cue the tent for a fun indoor camping birthday party. This book was part of her birthday gifts to go along with the theme. All in all it was a great book and taught her a little about fire safety!

Curious George was my favorite book series when I was a child. I got this for my 5 year old granddaughter. She has an 11 year old sister and they read together. The granddaughters plus their Mommy and her boyfriend come camping with us at our seasonal lot in our RV. Perfect book for her.

I have read this book for five consecutive days in a row for nap and night time. My son can not get enough. We love how George gets curious in this book about camping. We love to camp with him and pretend like we're roasting marshmallows too. We have had many learning experience just with this book. We talked about fire safety, how animals protect themselves, and how to camp. The pictures are beautifully illustrated bringing the reader on a whirlwind of causes and effects in the true Curious George way.

Good book for younger kids. Not quite at the reading level I'd hoped, as some of the words are a bit big. The story is entertaining enough though, and that saying something as I've had to read it about 20 times already. Rating courtesy of the 6 year old who got it.

Very cute book. It has enough words on a page for older kids too so worth the money. I recognized this story from a larger curious George book that encompasses several stories. This is small, thin & lightweight to take on trips

I purchased Curious George to use with adult ESL (English as a Second Language) students. This version, "Curious George Goes Camping" was a lot of fun for the students to read. They especially enjoyed the pictures and the story in general. The book is of good quality and will handle being read many many times. Now that the students have been introduced to Curious George, they are looking forward to reading some of the other mishaps this cute little monkey encounters. I highly recommend the book for young children and for ESL students of all ages.

This was a great little book to read on the go. I bought it for a train journey as my son is familiar with the cartoon and he loved it too. It was finished too soon and I need to get some more!
