Tiny parts! But they assembled with no problem by following the instructions. The laser worked, but I had to go outside to confirm the "dot" spot was a dot at 50 feet. Will take it to the range to test further. Had wondered about cleaning and how quickly the lens will foul from shooting, and I'll find that out too. Don't care for the only 4 hours of battery life with the CR 1/3N battery, but units so small often have limited battery life, so not a complaint, just noting it. The TCP 738 Taurus is a small gun, a "pocket gun", so everything is small. I bought a magazine extension (still can't find a +1 or +2 extension, so mine remains a 6+1 capacity). I have a Talon grip cover on, and had no problem with the laser fitting. Not sure I'm sold on the laser activating every time I grip the gun, mainly due to the 4-hour battery life. But it works as claimed so far, I can keep the middle finger loose enough (with practice) to not engage the laser and still grip the handle-with-extended-magazine adequately. Remains to be seen if that affects ability to absorb recoil in this very small .380. Small guns tend to recoil more than bigger ones, and the mag extension helps. Couldn't find a reasonably priced holster for it, but have a slightly larger standard holster (in my car) that fits just fine, and the retaining strap will snap together. No significant increase in "printing" when put in my pocket (no holster for now), but it's a car CC (concealed carry, legal in WY) backup gun for me. So initially, I like it, and only shooting at the range and time will tell beyond that. Not perfect, but it is useful. And the laser warning labels will, in time, scrape off even in a holster, which has also happened with my larger pistols.

Seamless fit under barrel-rail pin area, around trigger guard, and covering just enough of the grip front where the sensor pad is embedded. Looks and feels like part of the gun. As is common with CT laser add-ons, the zeroing adjustments are simple. A minor turn (1/4 rotation) goes a long way. While there is no on/off switch as with grip mount models, I never turn those off and have heard the batteries have lasted almost two years. If kept in moderate temperatures, most batteries of this type will last longer. Power is only consumed when laser is illuminated. Instructions are a little important if you do not have experience. Most retailers in my area want over $200.00 for this one. Looks good operates well, but the value for the money isn't on point for other brands. I didnt have a choice so I got it.

I researched the various lasers with my fanatical zeal and decided upon CT due to its design and battery replacement ease/cost. As easy to install as seen on You Tube, fit and finish as advertised, no gaps and solid after using multiple times at range. I have made two different custom leather holsters for it and it works flawlessly in both designs: front pocket and rear pocket billfold style.I also bought the red snap caps and Pierce grip extension which helps get three fingers on the grip. Fit and finish were solid, no mods needed, magazine locks up tight with no issues.

Completely transforms the TCP. Typical Crimson Trace quality, impeccable fit, and register for free batteries for life. What's not to love!I checked the zero with a surelite chambered bore scope and the windage was dead on for 20yds and had to bring the elevation up just a touch (with the included extremely small hex key wrench). Installed in 5 minutes and looks like it was made there.

Seemed like a lot of money for such a small device. But it fit perfectly on the gun and the switch is located so it comes on automatically when you take your grip. No fumbling for an on button and the gun still fits the same Blackhawk Size 3 pocket holster.Unlike another brand I have on my Sig 9mm it doesn't switch off when a round is fired (as long as you maintain your grip) and was easily zeroed in using a bench rest, it didn't take much adjusting.I installed it on my wifes' pistol and she has greatly improved her accuracy versus the pitiful stock sights on the Taurus. She can now, after some range time, put six fast rounds in a 10 inch paper plate at 7 to 10 yards. This is a major accomplishment for her.The laser is not very visable in daylight conditions unless your target is in a shadow but it's great for low light and night use. It was well worth the money for the peace of mind she has gained now that she can quickly hit what she's aiming at. It' not a bullseye getter but a six round 10 inch, rapid fire group at 10 yards should suffice for a conceal carry piece.In a panic situation it could prove to be the difference. I highly indorse it.

Could use the gun without it now that i have one. Kinda pricey but it fits great easy to adjust. Button on the middle finger turn laser on. Guns almost to small it tents to try and jump out of my hands because my hands are kinda big and dont fit to good on it....
