I went looking for a Jane Austen cookbook and wasn't disappointed. I first became interested in this cookbook because I liked the cover art, then I actually peaked at some of the recipes and knew I needed to get it. This is the perfect cookbook to get you well on your way to throwing a fantastic Austen teaparty with the girls.

This was a gift for my wife, who has a tea shop business in its infancy. She loves this book!

It's a lovely little book that I accidentally ordered twice, so my best friend is sharing in the fun. No matter what she says, I'm Lizzie and she's Jane. She needs to accept that. Face it, girl! Anywhoo, the recipes are shown in both modern measurements and the ones used in Austen's days. There are intros to each to tie them into the various books. I can't wait to make the sponge-cake.

This is a lovely, slim collection of recipes drawn fromall of Jane's books. If you or your friend enjoys making fussy dessertsthis is for you. Warning, however, do not combine this book with the same writer's Dinner With Mr. Darcy. Both books are delightful as stand alones but they contain the same recipes (Mr.Darcy has 6 more).This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Very cute book. Nice binding and good photos. Recipes seem easy enough to follow and include stories and references to Austen’s letters and novels. I bought it for a book club gift exchange and I think it will be perfect.

Beautiful little book, well laid out recipes and J. Austen story. Was bought for a birthday gift and the recipient says that they look forward to using the book.
