to read it to my Granddaughter. She’s 3 and her name is Lulu.We loved the book.

Gave this book to my Neice for Halloween. It’s a cute story and is on her reading level (1st grade)

My 6yo daughter picked out this book when she earned a gift certificate to amazon. As a 1st grader, she is just learning to read on her own and this book's interesting plot combined with sight words and repetitive non-sight words make it a wonderful read. She has read this story many times and used it for one of her book reports for school. She enjoys reading it over and over - she's read it to me three times in the last two weeks and will read it to her younger siblings for as long as they will sit still. She keeps it with her during afternoon "quiet times". She says, "it is fun to read and I like how the witches act out their part."

This is a cute book, especially for spooky season. But, I find myself on the fence about the overall theme. There's a bully, and how the bully is dealt with just didn't sit all the way right with me.So while it had some good reader words, and a lot of decodable words - the overall message doesn't make me reach for this book first as a parent.

I saw a comment saying that this story has no plot, which isn’t true at all. It has an adorable plot and the pictures are amazing. Perfect for my pre-kindergarten 5 year-old to nearly be able to read on her own. This book also seems to perfectly prepare junior readers for longer chapter books as it is a bit on the longer side.

My daughter loved this book, she wanted me to read it over and over again. She is in 1st grade and the book was still too challenging for her to read on her own. It is level 2, so I expected it might be.

My daughter really loves this book.We've also bought another book "Lulu and the witch baby".Every little girl would love stories about Lulu wich.
