I am a single small framed female who does her own yardwork. Gas powered hedge trimmers are entirely too much maintenance and weight for me to control. These trimmers are lightweight, practical, and battery powered. Box came with a hedge trimmers, some other thing I don't know what to do with, oil/lube, a battery, and charger. I am able to trim (not mow, but groom and keep clean) all the buses (around 15 or so) on one change. This is a game changer for me. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a lightweight, cost efficient, and maintenance free hedge trimmers.

Nice sturdy and moderately powerful handheld grass and hedge trimmer. I really like the trimmer for small edging jobs around raised gardens and patio. They do not do well with thicker branches in hedges/shrubs. Mostly for shaping. But it's great for mobility and power.

I like the size of the shears/shrubber. It is easy to set up and change out blades and does not require any tools. You do need to watch out for the grease that is on the base where you attach the blades. It also did take a little more than 3 hours to charge from a dead charge. I was able to use it cutting the grass around pathway lights and some ornamental trees and my garden area as well as use the long blade to tidy up my shrubs. All in all about an hour and half before I needed a charge.You cannot cut larger branches on shrubs or trees it will choke it off also the shears will not cut tall grass at the ground .. you have to make a couple swipes at it until you get down to the length you desire. I did cut a variety of weeds and grass around my garden area and seemed to handle it all with ease. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

I gave been so obsessed with Dewalt and has been using 3rd party mini hedge trimmers with poor quality which broke down after a few uses ( because Dewalt does not have their grass/mini herge trimmer released yet). I’m so glad that I took the exception to have this non-Dewalt tool in my collection thanks to it’s well designed and made quality, also not pretty affordable cost, even with battery included! I definitely recommends it.

These work great for cutting bushes and grasses. Not heavy and lighter than I thought they would be. Easy for this old lady to use. Having fun getting my yard in shape.

Seems like a longer battery charge than my past Black & Decker. I also appreciate that the battery charger is a small compact cord with a plug style fitting that the battery plugs into taking up less space, and not a big bulky box stand that has to sit on a shelf or bench. I have a whole row of battery charger stands that line up on my work bench and take up way too much space. Its well balanced in my hand so my wrist doesn't get tired. Perfect size for those small trimming jobs like the small arborvitae hedge that flanks my gate, or making quick work of cutting down clumps of spent perennials in my flower bed through out the summer. At the end of summer I use a full sized bar trimmer to cut down my beds for winter but this compact trimmer fits well for getting those maintenance jobs done through out the season. I have always had both compact and full size bar trimmers. I only use the bar attachment with this tool it has always been more useful than the flat trimmer blade but that's just the way I garden. Others may use them both.
