Avery Durable View 3 Ring Binder, 1 Inch Slant Rings, 1 Pink Binder (17830)

I opened and closed this binder MAYBE 4-5 times in the less than two weeks that I had it, and half of the middle ring completely snapped off from barely any force while shutting it.

I use a lot of binders in my work, and Avery is usually my go-to brand, but this model is a real dud.It seems to have been constructed well, but lacks the features that make other Avery binders my favorite. It only has a single front and back plastic pocket, and these are loose, so if you put any papers there, the fall out. Opening and closing the binder is tough too - it takes a lot of pressure. This one doesn't have the nice easy open clasp.

Maybe this was damaged in shipping. The rings don't line up and the inside pocket is torn. I've purchased Avery products for years and have been very pleased with everything, but this binder is a reject. I should have checked it out sooner -- the return window has passed.

PROS:-D-ring as opposed to the O-ring typeCONS:-“Durability”. I swear office product durability has significantly declined. I’ve used Avery binders in the past, and even still have a few flawless Avery view binders in use after a several years. But, when I first lifted this binder out of the box I felt immediate disappointment. It doesn’t “feel” as strong, just cheap. The corner ripped within a week of use

I bought this item because of this description, "Binder features a DuraHinge design that's stronger lasts longer and resists tearing and DuraEdge that makes the sides and top more pliable to resist splitting" This statement is false. This binder arrived in the mail today with the durahinge already broken a length of two inches away from the middle section. How long do you think the durahinge will last with use? Open and close a few times and the picture that comes to mind is the entire front cover coming off. My advice, buy something else.

This binder is inexpensive and durable. This semester, my college only offered a particular textbook I needed as a loose leaf, so this binder was handy!It is a typical, regular binder. Nothing too spectacular about it, yet is it inexpensive for its size and it’s quality. Nevertheless, I’m a strong believer in no matter how inexpensive an item is, treat it like it’s expensive! It’ll last a lot longer. On the other hand, this binder was a great purchase! I recommend it.

Very happy with these for the price. The rings work well and the D shape in this size is hard to come by.

If it wasn't for the fact that the product description didn't claim to be EZ open, I would have sent this back. The D-Rings are very difficult to open and the binder pockets are very shallow so papers fall out easily. My mistake thinking this was similar to binders I had purchased in the past, but hopefully, this will help someone else from making the same mistake.

The media could not be loaded.  Tenía miedo ya que pensé que estaría muy pequeña y por eso pedí 2,pero al verla y sus acabados me encanto, el color es hermoso, sobre todo los arcillos de adentro hacen que no se pandie las protecciones de ultra pro, y las mantiene en buen estado. Se me hizo demasiado barata la verdad, tiene muy buena calidad la carpeta ademas que tiene de varios colores y bolsillos dentro para guardar cosas, además de portada la cual puede agregar un póster o cualquier recorte y es muy difícil que se muevan.

Very flimsy. There was a tear on the front of one of them when received. It looked used as didn’t have the removable product stickers on the binder like the other binder had. I ordered 2 binders. They are covered in this flimsy plastic sheet that isn’t removable. It covers the whole binder. Not worth the money. This is a dollar store Quality item. Avoid unless you really need them.

I bought a basic binder from walmart, got it home, and realized the rings were misaligned. Nothing would fix it, so I threw it out and found this one on Amazon.I don't know what the cost is in a store like Staples, but it was worth every penny I paid to have it shipped via Amazon. The rings align perfectly and are designed for ease of writing while laying flat (not staggered pages because of curve of ring).The vinyl is tough, the board is strong and I'll be buying more like it in the future.
