Power-wheel wouldn’t go into reverse so I replaced the shifter… problem solved.

Took a bit of work to get the change out completed but well worth the money.

Went right in without any problems. The old one had one bad switch out of the two. But I found it easier to just replace the whole thing for a few dollars more.

I installed the new shifter. I am not sure that these are genuine, however, they seem to work well. The handle color was orange (expected) in lieu of the original red and the marking underneath for the red and white wires are in foreign language. No speed screw is included. I do not know about the durability yet but staying hopeful.
