KUFASports Commercial Style Bait Bag with Rubber Locker and Hook

I’m glad I bought this bait bag. Went crabbing today on a pier. The guy next to me had 2 bait boxes stolen by seals. The first was completely ripped away so he secured the second one better. The seal somehow pried open the bait box and stole the bait. The box itself was bent open. My bag and bait stayed intact. The seal didn’t get to it even though my net was just 20ft from the other guy. I ended up with 5 rock crabs. Definitely would recommend.

I used this product at least 5 hours a day for 4 days dock crabbing. The mesh size is perfect and you can put small items in it like chicken hearts, livers and crushed bait fish. The added length is great because you can wrap it around the pouch and secure it in place better. What I really liked was the size ( cuts down on having to reload the thing often ) and its durability. No nicks or frays in the mesh at all. It was common to haul in 20 crabs per pull after 10-15 minutes (most non keepers) and it showed zero wear from the claw activity against it. A breeze to empty and clean. I can see this item lasting for a long time. EDIT: It’s 2024 and I am still using these bait bags. Still no fraying or significant wear to the pouches. I have all the original pouches and all function perfectly. Recently started crawdad fishing and I will buy no other bait bag than these. Excellent product.

This bait bag isn't made for the small size crab traps which are for personal use. It seems to be a pretty good one for the bigger traps though. I bought it for my small trap not realizing it's full size so not something I can use . It takes up most of the trap with just the bag alone. I'm not returning it since it's my mistake , it was cheap enough so I'll write it off to experience. Like I said, it seems to be a pretty decent and inexpensive product.

Had one before,great chum bag

Easy to clip in and tie up to crab pot. Easily stretches to accommodate larger bait and multiple baits. Has held up well during a week long crabbing session.

Perfect for the Crabbing and Prawning I do. Seems to be durable. Cant be the price for the value IMO.Thanks!

It is my opinion that bait bags are the way to go for crabbing. They consistently draw in big mature alpha males over females and smaller juveniles I think because they can actively dismantle small pieces and start a feeding frenzy that lasts a fairly long time. If you just put raw chicken/fish wired in without a bag the first crab there will devour it or run off with the bait. This forces the crabs to stay causing some survival of the fittest, the large males usually fight for it chase of the betas and stay to mow down. Way better than Scotty Bait cups which I only use for prawning now. Bait bags or nothing (50 years experience fishing and crabbing on the Queen Charlotte Islands.

It’s the the most durable one I’ve tried, but I like that it’s a flexible bag. The crabs couldn’t get the bones out but were able to get all the meat through the flesh so it ran out quickly

I love using mesh bags to hold bait over the cage or plastic mesh variety. This bag holds the bait well and is easy to handle in the tight confines of the catch while on the water. Unbeatable for the price.
