Great value for a lightweight pocket style curtain rod. The rod is well made to fit with modern window treatments. The rod is easy to install.

The rod is fine as long as you don't have a heavy curtain or valance installed on it. If you're going to install something heavy, you might want to consider another option. I ordered one and it worked out fine for a light valance. Because of the width of the window, I used the included center bracket for support. I ordered another one later to install over a sliding door. IT DID NOT COME WITH A CENTER BRACKET so I returned it and ordered another one. It also did not come with a center bracket even though the instructions with the packaging state that it should be included. I returned that rod to Amazon and ordered another rod from another company. I called the manufacturer explaining the missing bracket and they said that maybe Amazon got a bad batch/lot of rods. They offered to send me the missing bracket free of charge but it would take 2-3 weeks to receive it. Reading the reviews here other customers orders were missing the bracket as well.

This product looked great online, but was only great in theory. Our window opening is 48 inches wide. Initially, I orders the 24"-48" size. That was a mistake, because when opened to the max 48", the product was not stable enough to stay together. So, we ordered the next size up, 48"-86". Though the main piece felt sturdy and substantial, it was very difficult to adjust and the side pieces did not offer the nearly the level of support needed for a heavier fabric. For a drywall application, the hardware supplied is totally inadequate. We used bigger, better molly's to attach the brackets, but even they didn't work and we now have 4 holes in the wall where we tried to attach it. Three hours of frustration, so returning the products and going back to the old fashioned rod type that has always served me well in the past...

Didn't come with the mounting hardware so I called the manufacturer and they sent me the hardware at no charge. Thank you

Although this is a nice rod and definitely worth the money for a "Made in USA" product, I was disappointed that the hardware that was included with the rod was incorrect since it included 2 right braces instead of the required 1 right and 1 left. Of course, Amazon has kindly shipped a replacement. The incorrect hardware is the reason for the lack of a better rating.

It was impossible to find this old style 2” curtain rod at any store. But I found it on Amazon and it is perfect! Thank you Amazon!
